This trailer SHITS on the first one. And thank GOD Rob decided to take his goddamn wife out of the trailer.. Hopefully he cut her out of the movie. Oh and they changed the title from H2: The Devil Walks Among Us to simply Halloween 2. Wack in my opinion.

I dunno how to embed the link.. I'll see if its up at youtube yet.

Didn't the first Halloween remake suck ass? Oh yeah! It did.
different strokes for different folks. I liked the remake. Granted, there is a LOT of shit he could have and should have done differently (like NOT shooting a scene for scene remake of the original for the last half of the movie), but overall, it was a solid movie. I think Dimension had Rob handcuffed though. Hence the lack of character development.

House of 1000 Corpses was coo, Devils Rejects was awesome, Halloween remake was average.

The OG Halloween is considered a classic, even though that it is quite slow paced. What made it a classis is the atmosphere and "creepyness"...
Zombie took that mostly away. He would have succeeded, if he would have changed Halloween completely into a different version, and not only the first half.

I always liked the second Halloween more than the first, even though 1 and 2 is more like one movie. The second movie also gives Zombie more room to do his own shit imo, because all the Horror fans won't freak out if he changes it too much...

I'm definatly lookin forward to this. And anybody who didn't like the first remake, should check this out anyway...

Couldnt agree more. It was like half zombie, half generic ass bullshit remake.

Yeah, actually, Halloween 1 and 2 were shot as one movie. Obviously they werent gonna release a three and a half hour movie, so they made it two parts.

I just hope Zombie wasnt handcuffed this time around by Dimension.

The only reason he did the sequal to this film is because he was promised full control of its direction.

He was stuck having to make the exec's happy during the first, hence the second half of the film being near identical to the original.
