is it me or was family guy wayyy funnier in the beginning.

like i was watching "Peterotica" last night, and they had the kool aid guy have a car crashed in his house n shit n he got mad.
now i remember when he first appeared in the show was in the court, and that shit cracked me the fuck up only because it was random and first time seeing him.

but now that the writer is trying to relate these new episodes to all the older episodes i feel that it took out an important feature within it and that was random actions, by random characters. (or such)

Family Guy is a classic, can't wait till they put new episodes on here - I think we've seen the first three series - how many series are there actually?

Also, what's the deal with the simpsons? My girlfriends brother loves the simpsons and wants to own them all on DVD - they only have the first 7 or so seasons on DVD though - aren't they up to season 16 or something like that? Why haven't they bought the last 10 or so seasons out on DVD, or do they have them in the US but just not in Australia?
