Well, if you ask me, it might actually be better for parents who don't want their kids to be vaccinated to be allowed and even actively encouraged to refuse taking the shots
Then we release the corresponding disease agent in the communities with particularly high concentration of such people. Natural (well, almost) selection at its finest...
those vaccine components serve as adjuvants (inducing beneficial inflammatory reactions, in this context) to ensure an effective immune response against the given microbe.

My son is 3 months and he got his first set. I am not a doctor but I refuse to have a pediatrician who does not have children of their own. He is scheduled to get his 2nd sets in 1 more month. I don't pretend to be a doctor. I think NOT getting the shots is "following the crowd". I think getting the shots for your children is doing the safe thing.

My girl is a lil over 6 months now and is about to get her shots, we didn't want to do it that early though I will admit. Pumping that much shit into something so small. I will not be near a hospital because of that fact.
and therefore i will most likely not have to be forced w/ the decision of vaccination of my children, adopted or not.

The fact that a lot of people in science are not real scientists (and please, do not confuse doctors with scientists, there is a statistically very significant overlap between the two groups, but still, the majority of doctors are not scientists) by no means undermines the validity of the scientific method
