New Agalloch EP "The White EP"

Oregon's Agalloch has announced the forthcoming release of a new EP titled "The White EP." The effort was recorded over the past three years and, according to the band, "contains seven dark folk and ambient works." Here is the track listing:

4. Pantheist
5. Birch White
6. Sowilo Rune
7. Summerisle Reprise

Vendlus Records will release the EP in early-2008.

Meanwhile, the band has confirmed a handful of March 2008 shows, including the annual Ragnarök Festival in Germany and a headlining gig in Belgium, in addition to a few Pacific Northwest dates.

Finally, Agalloch has officially parted ways with live drummer Chris Greene, who has been replaced by Aesop Dekker of Ludicra.

Not that it makes a big difference, but Agalloch's website says it will be released in either late 2007 or early 2008. I'm really looking forward to this, especially considering a few months ago they said not to expect anything from Agalloch for a long time since the members were working on a project for Sculptured.
