Alot of people seem to think he's stuck on that slow flow,and most of the videos their puttin out dont seem to change that perception.Listen his entire NFES albums cuz he's goin harder on quite a few songs.Maybe not as aggresive as the S.T. & 65 G'z era,but he's still comin with it.Im not really diggin this song to be quite honest though..but he's gettin my 10$ when its released.
a-wax is dope.....hes one of the few rappers who have been cosistant wid it,dude aint changed his content ,ya'll niggaz aint hearin how he still talkin about bodying people and sellin dope ,hes just being clever in how he does shit by tryna put it across to a broader audience with smoother,less underground beats and samples,i.e not just for goons to listne to ,dats just my opinion tho mayne....hes up there with the few rapper i can slap in ma deck and listne to all the way through a cd...
i went on vacation for two weeks and had awax's complete catalogue on my mp3 player and never got bored of his music,if u listne to savage timez and 65gz and compare it with something like jnr high 2 tha pen or nfes u will see how in his older shit he was lyrical and sounded hungry but his song construction and story tellin isnt as detailed as his more recent shit,some rapper spittin out here are just rhyming,this dudes actually painting a picture for u niggaz LOOOL, like big chill said awax is one of the few rappers who id like tto hear just str8 up on his own spittin,no features.....but yo cant ya'll niggaz see how much hes had to dumb shit down on certain songs to either fit in where he can get in or to just fit in with the theme and featued rapper in da song??? lol ..... for me though any awax cd is worth listning to....
