i love when people sample stuff that wasn't that good before, but they make it much tighter. i'll be honest and say i think the originals to basically every track i have heard that darkroom has used, wasn't as good as the original. alot of consumers are youngin's nowadays tho, and they don't recognize alot of stuff, so they don't care. puff daddy has been the most blatant example i think of using other peoples beats. but he was using pop songs into remakes......bad move. he stole my idea tho of taking the musical score from the original rocky movie and using it on the song victory. that beat is tight. i do like sampling, just depends if you use it in moderation, and if the song you sample actually makes a good rap song. mc eiht's all for the money is a perfect example of a dope ass sample
