woo hoo. im in the process of having my x box modded and fitted with an 80 gb hard drive. now all i have to do is rent, borrow, or download xbox games and rip them directly to the hard drive. my homeboy got his hooked up and he's gettin mine next.

i recently did the same, BUT did you hear the rumors about M$ putting "mod detection" on new games? apparently, games produced after a certain date (was sometime in sept.) dont work if you have a mod chip.....i hope to god this is just a rumor.

I got a few games myself and they all boot just fine.
Hmmmm..... Mod-detection on games eh?
I just rented out HitMan2 and I was having trouble booting it up. Well it booted up eventually after like 2 or 3 tries.
The disk wasn't scratched or anything so it must've been the "mod-detection".
Well so much for that shit, I'm able to play the game anyways ha ha ha.... I bet it will even work better after backing it up.
I'll try that tonight.
