OK I GOT THIS DISC THAT IS OF HOME MOIVES AND WHEN YOU POP IT IN MY DVD PLAYER IT JUST STARTS UP,...NOW WHEN I TAKE IT TO MY GIRL COMPUTER I TRY AND BURN A COPY IT SAYS
"SOMETHING ABOUT A MPEG2 PLUG IS NEEDED"

WHAT'S THIS ABOUT AND WHERE DO I GET THIS MPEG-2 CHIT?

Yeah your version of nero prolly doesnt support that shit, I think mpeg 2 is svcd and not the regular vcd. I know my version of nero is the express version and will burn a vcd but not a svcd. Your dvd player will play it but nero cant make one. You need the version of nero that can burn an svcd (super video disc) I think those codecs are for playing them on your pc. Downloading that codec wont let you burn a svcd i think. You will prolly have to upgrade nero to one that has the plugins to burn an svcd. I bet right now your media player will play it and if it cant it will auto download the codec to play it. But burning it to cd is another story i believe. I could be wrong here. But I think I am in the same situation. I can view all the svcd movies , if I try to make one to cd it tells me i need to upgrade nero.

Get a bit torrent downloading program and you can get the full blown nero @ www.torrentreactor.net

Might take a minute to download but it will have all the plugins to burn super video discs
