NEMO’s Music is opening on September 2 at 10am at the Tacoma Mall. NEMO’s is located between Super Smoothie and Wet Seal. NEMO’s invites the community to sample and purchase music by up-and-coming Northwest artists.

NEMO’s caters to the audiences that want to hear what isn’t heard in the main stream. The goal of NEMO’s is to promote local artists and independent labels that do not receive support in national chain stores. NEMO’s serves a variety of musical genres including hip hop, rock, r&b, gospel, house, drum ‘n’ bass, pop, & blues.

NEMO’s is a one of a kind store in the northwest that puts the local artist first. At NEMO’s, customers have access to music they can’t hear on the radio or find in the chain stores at lower prices. The participation of the media and the local music community is greatly appreciated.

I went and talked with the guy that works there, it's not what I thought it was, it's one of those stands in the middle of the mall, but still a great place to get some cds you can't really find otherwise, plus you can get some Grind & Hustle stuff there...

Fa sho! No matter what anybody says, we can't do this rap thing alone. I figure if I share the love, maybe I'll get some love back. So rush your music to them as they will be the only store in the mall accepting consignments after October.

I believe this is the best place in the Mall to have a store. Like you said, it's just a booth in the middle of the Mall but EVERYBODY SEES IT! They may not be going to the Mall to get music but they do get to still see it, and everyone's music promotions.

I've talked to the folks there a few times now and they've shown me nothing but love, and I'm not even in the music industry... I see them doing some big things in the near future, Tacoma's needed something like this...

Nemo's is now a mobile store. They rotate around most of the colleges and community colleges like an Ice Cream man slanging CDs.
And since they started doing that, my CDs have started moving 3 times faster. They were moving @ the Mall but the colleges seem to be the lick right now.
If you still aint got at them, you need to!

so is he no longer in the mall, he told me he was going to come out to Clover Park Tech. but I never saw him around, probably 'cause I don't go walkin' around or anything, but that's coo the store's hookin' up more sales for the locals
