neighborhoods in Pittsburg?

I dont know nothin about Pittsburg, nothin at all. So enlighten me and some shit. Whats the P like? What are the different areas and neighborhoods? I've heard its got some real ghettos and some rich areas too, and everyone lives there, blacks, Latinos, whites, and asians. True?

Also, it seems like there's thousands of rappers from Pittsburg now, are any of the them from the same neighborhoods? I know Rydah, Husalah, and Freako are from the El Pueblo projects, but that's about it. A-Wax says a few lines about "West Pitt" on one of his songs, and says he's an Eastsider from some street in "Get Low" off Savage Times. What about Fed-X?

Is it a good place to live? I need to live somewhere more affordable than the urban bay area (Frisco, Oakland, etc.). How much is housing out in Pittsburg? Possible to buy a house out there if you got a decent-paying, steady job?

for example I know someone who lives in some clean ass new apartments... cornerstone apartments on Atlantic (off E. Leland) then right around the corner you got the ghetto ass W. Boukevard

they got some nice suburb neigborhoods too

u can get a 2bd/2ba apt for under $1000 in the P. if u want to live in some newer, nicer ones you prolly lookin like $1100-1200.

Pittsburg is a smaller version of Richmond or Oakland. It has parts where you can buy a 600,000 dollar house on up, but for the most part its for mid to low income people. The main attraction is Wal Mart. You got a couple, about 3 real gutter neighborhoods like West Boulevard, El Pueblo, and Downtown, 10th St. It's grimmy in a lot of other places, but the murders normally come out of those spots. Gotta mention The Brownies-across from what used to be LMCH, behind the Arco station on Loveridge, West Pittsburg, and a few I forget. I've lived here for 23 years, and I call it home. Yeah there are females out here, but in my opinion they are either hoes, baby mama's, or too young. But to an outsider it's all good!!

I used to Live in West Pittsburg off Willow Pass. All the hoes are out in Antioch. Antioch has some pretty fine girls and they are hoes.

Pittsburgh has its good and grimey areas just like any other moderately avg size city. Hood wise I would put in the Faifield/Vallejo category with less homicides (fact not fiction). Housing wise nothing in the Bay is really "affordable". Even in the hood you're gonna pay a pretty penny for a house.
