need yalls help on what this movie is called

its an older classic flick.....this guy and his wife and child go to take care of this old ass hotel or house out in the middle of no where, the weather is really shitty....it keeps flashing back and forth between that and some restaraunt where they are i the bathroom for a good amount of the time.......sorry the description is so shitty but its a clasic movie that I cant think of the name of it....im pretty sure it has a really notable actor in it as well....any help would be appreciated


its a kinda scary/horror type of movie, he really tries to control ole girl so she cant get out or some shit....I faintly remember the movie, thats why the details are so scetchy
