Need help with a sound

I was wondering if somebody could help tell me what kind of instrument makes the higher pitched noise that comes in for 2 notes at 11 seconds and 17 seconds on this video? Also how would I make the sound of a cymbal building up like it does starting at 8 seconds or what is that specific cymbal sound called? Thanks!

The two notes sound like something from an "ethnic" instrument like a dulcimer or something. You can probably get a similar sound by playing some type of bell or other chromatic percussion in the higher cleff.

As for the cymbal it sounds like a reverse cymbal, but it also sounds like a cymbal played crescendo. You can get the sound by finding a keyboard/module that has a reverse cymbal (damn near all of them have thes), or you can find a keyboard or drum machine that has a similar sounding cymbal with a FLAM/ROLL or a CRESCENDO style in the ARPEGGIATOR setting. Go to the arpeggio setting, hit your note and adjust to taste.
