I recently upgraded my home CPU (use to run Windows 98) and got a new Dell with windows XP. Using the same setup I had before it will not let me record my ols tapes and wax like i was able to before. is there anyone running Windows XP and doing this that may be able to help? Is there a missing step i need to do? Back in the 98 version i had to go to my audio and turn on the Line In, I did that with this XP and it didnt work. Can anyone help? Oh yeah, im using Easy CD Creator 5

download "musicmatch" software

the software allow you to link your stereo/tables to the comp using the "audio in" or "line in" jack in the comp....or you could use the mic jack, i have a feelin you already know how to do this

the musicmatch software has a FAQ in it that will show you how to set it up on her comp to synh and record....its really easy...i remember askin the same question though man

Here is the message I get when I try using Easy CD Creator:

Unable to use sound card for recording. Another application may already be using it.

check in the "file" tab.....go under "recording" and you change your source from "mic" to "line in"

then everything you play from your deck records when you start recording on musicmatch
