nah, for 3 reasons...

1) they would have a hard time convincing me its totally error-free.. cuz the last place i wanna be in is inside a car that i cant control
2) I like driving.. its therapeutic.. wont be the same
3) theres major privacy issues id have with anyone being able to punch up a number and be able to pull up in front of my house..

hmm good points. i was just thinking about how the ride would be on a 6+ hr road trip. :)

Hell no.

Most importantly, if you're hooked up to a mainframe, then someone will have knowledge of your daily routes and whereabouts. Not that I personally do anything that I need to keep hidden, but the lack of privacy involved inhibits freedom to an extent that I'm not comfortable with.

Also, if there's people out there that can hack into secure gov't sites and the like, then what's to stop someone like that from fucking shit up with the right motivation? Seems that the hacking of a highway mainframe has the potential to cause great damage.
