Nate is one of the most underrated players in the league. He used to tear it up in NY and he was a huge spark off the bench for Boston in the playoffs. I don't know why people are so down on this guy. He would be a legit backup for anyone and could easily start for a handful of teams.

And if I heard correctly after the Oklahoma buyout Golden State is only paying him like 800K a year??? What the fuck were other teams thinking? You don't think he could have helped out the Lakers behind old as Jesus Derek Fisher for 800k?
Nate did squat in a place like Boston, and even less in Olahoma. They probably thought he was done, becuase he was getting less and less PT every year for the last 3 years. And when you get CUT by a team, there has to be a reason and im sure most GM's saw that.

Nate is inconsistent. I have never seen him as a great bball player, just a hell of an athlete with alot of heart WHEN he wants to show it. Apparently, a lot of other GM's saw the same thing. However, one good night of bball make not a good bball player. IT had 24 last night for the Kings, but his overall numbers for the year show that his weaknesses are catching up to hiim in the NBA.

yeah, he is a great athlete and a spark off the bench. but he is not a good point guard. does not run offenses well, at all. too much of a "me first" player too. athleticism is undeniable. fearless. not a good point guard in a team game. a good individual player.

mark jack had nate running some decent offensive sets during the magic game yesterday. i stand corrected from my earlier post. and monta is a volume shooter, yes, but the warriors need that. there are times during the games where guys are real stagnant on offense, and the only mufuck a that can create his own shot (and make it, especially during the big moments) is monta.
