The person who brings the ball up is not the point guard, either.. LeBron brings the ball up for the Cavs a lot.. He is not there point guard. Grant Hill brought the ball up for the Pistons back in the day, he is not a point guard. Pippen did it for the Bulls a lot too. Shooting guards can bring the ball up because they rather have the ball in the better players hands, but that doesn't mean he's the point guard.
