Tell you what...if you can find more sites than me that list him as solely an SG, you win....if not, shut the fuck up for just 30 minutes.

What do you say?

Well first off this aint a contest, and 2ndly I dont base what he is off a website! I know what lineups are and after his 2nd or 3rd year he has been predominately a 2 guard!! If u need websites to see what he is thats on u!! I know what his position is! Yes he can and has played point but he is a 2 guard!! If u disagree thats fine with me!! Got Em!!

You can't say he's predominately anything if there's no proof of it besides what's in your little head.

I know you like to live in your own world, but the concept of credibility and proof extends well beyond your pathetic existence.

How's about that?

Ima settle this AI thing once and for all...

ya'll are BOTH correct. AI plays the 1 and 2 spot. Just like Sheed can play the 4 and 5 spot. Just like Lebron plays the 2 and 3 spot, or any other spot he feels like playing for that matter. Wherever the coaches list him on the roster matters only to them [the coaches], it doesn't affect the game much, if any- because these players are going to play whatever role they feel they need given the circumstances of the game and the teams/players they're up against each night. Quit fucking arguing about it.

and finally...

HOW THE FUCK IS THIS THREAD GONNA GET 2 PAGES WITHOUT MENTION OF RICHARD HAMILTON? Rip EATS the West every time he crosses the Mississippi. I mean, the guy was only an All-Star the past 3 years.

U aint cleared up nuthin for me dog. I know he can play both like other players can play multiple positions. But if u are gonna categorize what he is then he is a shooting guard plain & simple! 2ndly the reason Rip wasnt mentioned in this thread cause he aint in the top 3! Hell he aint in the top 5!! He is good though but not for this thread!! U just bein a homer if u say so!! Got Em!!

LMAO you clown.

Not only did you plead no contest with me, you went against your "I don't need a website" spiel.

And, you did shut up for more than a half hour.

I'd say you met your idiot quota for the night.

You are a homer.. Rip isn't a top 3 shooting guard.. Not close. I'd probably take five other shooting guards over him.. He's very one dimensional. He gets the props he gets because he's on this team.

And AI is a starting shooting guard. That's where he starts at, so that's the position he is considered. Look at the Nuggets box scores for this season, and you'll see.

1. Kobe Bryant
2. Allen Iverson
3. Dwayne Wade

...

4. Joe Johnson
5. Manu Ginobili

Denver Nuggets starting five:

A.Carter - PG
A.Iverson -SG
C.Anthony - SF
K.Martin - PF
M.Camby - C

and he played SG for the Sixers when Eric Snow was the Point Guard.. He's been a shooting guard far longer than a point guard. Just because he's short doesn't mean he's a point guard.
