Let's get a thread going about the best fights you've ever seen in your life. Post a description and/or a link to download or youtube.
I'll start (with boxing naturally):
Diego Corrales vs Jose Luis Castillo. Hands down my favorite fight. Non-stop action from beginning to end, tons of drama, multiple knockdowns, a little controversy and a shocking ending. I can throw this fight in the DVD player at any time and still get chills down my spine.
Final Round:
Mickey Ward vs. Arturo Gatti I. The first of three fights. It seemed Gatti and Ward were made for eachother, another non-stop action fight. Round 9 sums up the fight perfectly, which was quite possibly one of the best rounds ever to watch:
Tons of other great fights - hearns/hagler, leonard/hearns, aaron pryor/arguello, but just to throw a recent one as my #3, Imma say
Margarito vs Cotto. To hardcore boxing fans, this was the biggest fight at the welterweight division since the sugar ray leonard days. Two of the absolute best at Welterweight in their primes going head to head to fill the void since Mayweathers retirement. Cotto with the technical skill, Margarito with his ruthless and relentless pressure. Mexico vs Puerto Rico rivalry.
