If you want to listen to what we were doing in 1993, check out www.mp3.com/40ouncerecords There are 3 songs from N2DEEP "Un-Released Game" on there. Our studio was broken into in 1993 and most of our studio equiptment was stolen along with our reels that had about 20 songs on them. We scratched the whole album and started over. What we came up with was 24-7-365. "Un-Released Game" was originally gonna be an album called "Everybody Ain't Able". Most of these songs were recorded in the winter of 1992 and early 1993......

Possibly the most under-rated artist in the history of music.... not owning EVERY SINGLE cd he's put out is a shame to your Bay Area Pride, PERIOD.

BUY GUYS LIKE JAY TEE'S SHIT!!!!!

It's like a bay area fan not buying E-40's shit, what are you . . . an imposter ????????

Yeah, that was a cool trip. The only fucked up part was that we got searched real tuff when we crossed the border cause TL smelled like weed something terrible. They held us for a few hours and then let us go. Lighter Shade Of Brown was also on that trip and they never made it thru customs for some reason I forget.

Everytime I play N2deep for people they love it, I really don't know what it is that has kept that shit from blowing up . . . but I guess as long as the music keeps getting pumped out, what can the fans of it really complain about

Ya'll where super close to Blown-up though! i mean you kinda did... i grew up in vallejo, i even had a hat that said "N2DEEP" shit you had on in the "Weekend" video i think... but i was watch "Yo MTV Raps" late one night, and Back To The Hotel came on... lol not many people from the Bay Area ever got some play on MTV !!!!!

hey Jay-Tee, get Jonny Z, to make some Heater like he did back in the day, his shit changed, still tight... but doesn't have the same feel, you'll use to have some super funky shit, i mean that was the shit that got you on the radio ECT. why don't you think about maken some more cuts like that?

and one more Question, are you in contact with dude from Potna Duece? whats his name Rube? or somthen, the Black dude not Baby Beesh... if so, if i can get in contact, i want a Verse from him and you... we can talk some business off the net, if you can PM a contact

Man Jay Tee - you werent nothing if you didnt have Back To The Hotel back in the day. I really think a lot of these youngsters dont have a clue how big that song was in Northern Cali when it came out.

I was hip to all the Frisco shit at the time like Cougnut and IMP, Hugh E MC, CTG and Fly Mar, but I hadnt even thought to listen to anything out of Vallejo until Back To The Hotel came out big. N2DEEP may have not been the first out of Northern Cali but all artists that have hailed from here should really understand that N2DEEP brought the spotlight to Bay rap.

Who is featured on this album with you? I have some shit I thought was unreleased that has appearances by Mac Dre, 40 and Legit, sounds HELLA old and unmixed.

Anyway, good luck with your shit, that catalog is getting big!

^^ You're right, I really wasn't hip to N2deep until after Back to the Hotel . . . and to tell you the truth I didn't become a FAN until I got a phone call from Jay Tee one night . . . 40 told me to check out his shit, which I already had . . I just hadn't heard much of it . . . .The next morning I went to the record store and bought an album... after that me and all my friends became addicted to the shit. It'd be like knowing who Jay-Z was . . . thinkin the couple songs that you mighta heard once or twice on MTV were tight, then Hard Knock Life came out (Originally Hard Knock Life was his retirement album) and you were a fan. Some people it just takes longer . . . for me it was cuz I live in Michigan and I'm not exposed to the shit, I had to find out for myself . . but once I did . . . I gotta say I love the music and I hope it catches on again!

I remember the when back to the hotel came out and we were slumping that as kids. That was the first bay shit I really heard. I used to tell everyone in school that TL was my cousin because his uncle and my aunt married but there was no blood relation but i failed to mention that to my friends. lol, those were the days.

but yea i have been along time N2deep supporter. I think I have bought every single album within the first week of release. they are all hard but I especially love 24-7-365, Golden State, and Rumble

I keep trying to make classic shit. When I made "So Cold" everybody liked it, but it didn't sell like I wanted it to. But now, a year and a half later, everybody tells me to make another album like "So Cold". Record sales have been more this year, than the year that I dropped it. When I did "24-7-365" it only sold 40,000 units, and I had just sold a million units a year or two earlier with "Back To The Hotel". Now, everybody says that that was the best N2DEEP album ever. It's like I'm always way ahead of the game. When I drop an album, I think people need a year or two to really appreciate it. When I drop "High Caliber" my best album ever in my opinion, will people be ready?
