Platinum Bound Ent. Presents - Derogatory Statements Mixtape

1) "Intro" Gage from Dem Niggaz
Gage gives the album a little intro to a tight beat produced by Tatem 1. Gage doesn't have a flow, he just talks a bit. I'm loving the beat though.

2) "We Don't Allow It" Mdash, Rux, Mub, Tilt
All four rappers come tight on this song. They stay strong with the beat and bring some cold flows on the mic. A tight ass song from these Platinum Bound Ent. rappers.

3) "Let Ya Man Know" Mdash
A cool flow from Mdash on this song. It's just one verse, but Mdash puts it down with some good lyrics and a good delivery. Solid mic work from Mdash.

4) "Spit That" Sir Moj
A short spit from Sir Moj. His flow is pretty good, wish I could hear an extended version of the song though. It's a cool short flow from Sir Moj.

5) "Situations" NBD
Taking it down a knotch for this song with a slow paced beat and spit. They just talk about some girls. Both Mdash and Tilt have good verses. A pretty good song overall, their delivery fits perfectly with the beat.

6) "Freestyle" Rux aka Ruxilla
Rux has a tight ass style on the mic and spits a hard freestyle for this song. The only thing bad about it is that it sounds like he did it over the phone. In any case though, I'm feeling him on the mic, he has good lyrics and a good delivery to go along with it. This is one of my favorite songs on the album.

7) "Perm Whipped" Tilt from NBD
A cool song right here. Tilt from Natural Born Dankstas comes tight on the mic with a solid delivery to this beat. He talks about getting his perm whipped. The only thing I don't like is the song cuts out all of a sudden. Still a tight song though, I'm feeling it.

8) "Politics as Usual" Dobad, Solitary 1
This is my favorite song on the album most definately. I like the beat they sampled and Dobad and Solitary 1 bring tight flows on the mic with a perfect style. This song is tight as fuck, knocc this shit!

9) "Infamous" Mobb Deep ft. Charlie Baltimore
A good song right here. Nice mic work by all rappers from start to finish. One of the more lengthy songs on the album, but it still keeps you listening all the way through. A solid song overall.

10) "They Shootin" Stizon Skrilla
Damn, Stizon Skrilla comes heated on this song. His flow fits perfectly with the beat and the lyrics are good. This is another one of my favorite songs on the mixtape. After hearing this song I want to hear more from Stizon Skrilla.

11) "OG Hog Slap" Sir Moj, Tilt
Sir Moj and Tilt come solid on this song. Each has a short verse that fits well with the beat. Not the best work from either rapper I've heard, but I'm feeling both verses.

12) "Freestyle Flow" Mdash ft. Cellski
I'm not really feeling this song much. The beat they sampled isn't all that great. I'm not feeling Cellski on the mic much here, I've heard much better verses and freestyles from him. Mdash comes better on the mic, but even his freestyle can't save the song for me. Good for Mdash's verse, but besides that I'm not feeling it.

13) "Live My Life" NBD
A slower paced beat to this song. Mdash and Tilt come with solid verses on the mic, but I like the faster paced flows from them better. The beat they sampled isn't that great either. A decent song overall, not one of my favorites.

14) "Stay PI" Mdash, Stizon Skrilla, Marsh Nut
Another slower paced beat right here. I'm not feeling the hook to this song at all, the verses are alright, but again I like faster paced flows from the Platinum crew. Another decent song overall, I'm not a big fan of it though.

15) "A Hood Thang" Dem Niggaz
A good beat to sample as Dem Niggaz come tight on the mic with some solid verses coming with some good mic styles. A solid song from Dem Niggaz, I'm feeling it.

16) "Special Report" NBD ft. Mista Cane
Three good verses from Mdash, Tilt and Mista Cane. They stay well with the beat and come with some solid lyrics on the mic. Just three good verses from all three rappers.

17) "Exploaded" NBD ft. Game Insane
A cool sampled beat for this song. NBD and Game Insane come with good verses for this song. A relatively short track for the number of verses on it, but I'm diggin it. Some solid mic work from these two tight groups.

18) "Bay Shit" Mdash, Rux
Mdash and Rux come hard on the mic on this song. This is another one of my favorites for the album. I'm feeling Mdash a little more than Rux, but both come tight. They put it down on the mic for that Bay shit. I'm feeling this song to the fullest.

19) "Gold Diggin Tramps" NBD ft. Sir Moj
They talk about those gold diggin tramps on this song. I'm feeling all three verses, but I'm feeling Tilt and Mdash's more than Sir Moj. It's a solid song overall, I'm feeling it.

20) "No Pressure" Mdash, Marsh Nut, Stizon Skrilla
A good sampled beat as Mdash starts it off on the mic with a solid verse. I'm not feeling Marsh Nut that much, but I like Stizon Skrilla though. A good song besides Marsh Nut's verse.

21) "Took No Time" Mdash, Sir Moj
Mdash comes tight as fuck on this song, I'm feeling his style, lyrics and voice. Sir Moj comes good on the mic, but I'm feeling Mdash more than him. I like the hook Mdash sings too. A tight song overall, I'm feeling it to the fullest.

22) "Freestyle" Kontac, Erase E, Balance
A cool sampled beat to get things started. Kontac comes hard to start the song off with, Erase E is alright, but I'm not feeling him as much as Kontac and Balance. Balance finishes off the song with a solid verse, not his best though, I've heard better verses from Balance. A cool song overall though.

23) "The Story Goes" NBD
I'm not really feeling the beat they sampled, but the verses make up for it. They take it down a notch again with a slower paced flow. I think these types of beats fit Tilt's style a bit more, but both he and Mdash come with good work on the mic. Not one of my favorite songs though, a decent song overall.

24) "My Bitch" Mdash
Mdash brings the heat on the mic talking about his bitch. This isn't his best verse he spits on the album, but he comes cool though. A decent verse from Mdash.

25) "Ain't Bullshittin" Sir Moj
Sir Moj comes alright on the mic for this song. I like his fast paced flow for this song, but I'm not a big fan of his delivery style. A decent verse from Sir Moj, but I think he has better ones than this flow.

26) "All on a Hoe" Marsh Nut
Marsh Nut comes with a funny flow for this song. I'm not a big fan of his mic delivery, but I like the lyrics he puts down. The hook needed to go though. A decent mic style from Marsh Nut, but I like the funny lyrics.

27) "Ruthless" Savage C
Savage C comes with a solid flow on the mic for this song. A good sampled beat that fits Savage C's style nicely. A short verse, but a good one from C.

28) "One Last Conversation" Mdash
This is my favorite song on the album, by far. Mdash spits from the heart on this one, talking about his grandfather who passed away. The beat he chose is perfect and really hits you with the mood. The lyrics he spits are deep and hard. Definately the best song on the album, I'm feeling it to the fullest.

29) "West Coast" Moonshine Bandits
Typical party type of song from Moonshine Bandits talking about booze, getting down with some parties and just kicking back in California. A cool song from the Moonshiners, not the best work I've heard from them, but decent overall.

30) "Nothin Comin After This" Mdash
A slower paced beat and flow from Mdash. A relatively short flow from Mdash, not even really that much of a verse either, just a short little filler track.

31) "I Won't Change" Mdash, Rux, Young Dru, Tilt
I'm feeling Mdash, Tilt and Rux's verses, but I'm not feeling Young Dru much at all. A decent song overall, not really one that I'm into all that much.

32) "So High" Mdash, Rux
This is a good song from Mdash and Rux. I'm feeling Mdash a little more on the mic than Rux, but both rappers come with a good flow. A solid song overall.

33) "Rumble" Mdash
A tight song to finish the album off with. Mdash gets to showcase his mic talent one more time to a good sampled beat. A tight send off to a very complete mixtape.

Overall this was a very solid mixtape from Platinum Bound Ent. I was extremely impressed with Mdash's performance on this mixtape, he put in a lot of work appearing on a majority of the songs. The beats they sampled were good for the most part, there were a few I wasn't really feeling, but I liked most of them. The featured artists were good for the most part as well, again there were a few I didn't like, but a majority of them came with solid verses. All in all this was a very good mixtape from PBE, one of the better ones to drop this year, and especially good for some up and coming Bay Area rappers. Go pick this mixtape up, you wont' be dissapointed.

Overall Rating = 4/5
