1) "Intro"
Just the intro to the album. It has a stand up comedian start off the album with a clip from a show. Also there is a press conference about Iraq with the president in the background. Just a little weird intro.

2) "T-Shirt, Blue Jeans & Nike's" ft. E-40
My favorite cut on the album. Rick Rock lays down a fucking tight ass beat to get this album started with. Keak and E-40 come clean on the mic with two good verses by Keak and a good verse in the middle by 40 water. I like the sax mixed in with the beat. Just a tight ass song. I'm feeling it to the fullest.

3) "Hi-Volume"
Another good beat by Rick Rock for this one. The hook isn't all that great because it just has that clip "This should be played at high volume" on it. Keak comes hard on the verses though. He talks about himself for the most part. I'm feeling this one for the clean beat and good mic work by Keak. I'm not a big fan of the hook, but it's still a hard ass song.

4) "Know What I'm Talkin Bout"
Another one of my favorite songs right here. E-A-Ski handles the production for this one and lays down a knoccin ass beat. Keak comes hard on the mic on this song too. I like the hook a lot more than the last song too. The only thing that could have made this song better would be to take the female background off of the hook, but that's just a little tweak to it. This song bangs hard and has some great mic work by Keak. A tight ass song overall, I'm loving it.

5) "Rappin My New Twist"
A slower pace to this track. E-A-Ski laces Keak up with more tight production. Another good hook to this song too. It's just a kick back type of song with Keak talking about rapping being his new twist and talking about his life in general. Just a cool laid back song. I'm feeling it overall.

6) "Copium"
The title track has some heat to it. E-A-Ski again brings the heat on the production as Keak rips the mic with some hard lyrics. I can't really say more about the song than that. A tight beat, good lyrics and nice chorus to tie it all together. I'm feeling it overall.

7) "Hi Speed Specialist"
Another E-A-Ski beat right here. I'm not feeling it as much as the last two Ski beats though. Keak laces up the mic with some good lyrics again, but I don't like the echo on his voice. He talks about speeding away from the cops and getting into those high speed chases. A good song, but it could have used a better beat from Ski, I've heard him better than this.

8) "Freakalistic" ft. Rankin Scroo
Back to another Rick Rock beat for this song and brings the heat on the production. A solid beat as Keak and Rankin Scroo come tight on the mic. Rankin Scroo handles the hook with his reggae style. Keak has a couple good verses talking about all those freaks. A solid song overall, I'm feeling it.

9) "Set Up Shop" ft. Bra-Hef, Big Scoot, Whoday
D.J. Epik lays down a fucking tight ass beat for this song, one of my favorite beats on the album. Keak, Whoday and Big Scoot come good on the mic, but Bra-Hef needs to go. He sounds better than songs I heard with him on the Farm Boyz album, but I'm still not into his voice or delivery. Really I think this would have been best left as a Keak solo song, but it's still pretty good as it is now. The beat is the best part about it.

10) "What it Do" ft. Dola Ike
Another tight ass Rick Rock beat for this song. Keak comes hard on the mic with some solid work, but Dola Ike is horrible. He was one of the reasons I hated that Farm Boyz and he ruins this song. His voice is not good at all. His lyrics are better than on the Farm Boyz album, but I still can't stand his voice. Would definately been better as a Keak solo and it should have been. A good song without Dola Ike, decent with him.

11) "I Don't Wanna Go"
D-Dre lays down a slow paced beat for this song. Keak talks about leaving a girl, but he doesn't want to. I don't know who does the background vocals, but she does a pretty good job. It's not really my flavor of music though. It sounds more like an R&B song to me and it just doesn't seem right with Keak Da Sneak. It's a good song if you like that R&B style, but I'm not into it much.

12) "Raw"
Goldfingaz lays down the cool beat for this song. Keak comes good on the mic on his verses, the hook is nothing but him going rah, rah, rah the whole time. So really this track is good for the verses, I'm not a big fan of the production and the hook is nothing really. A decent song overall.

13) "Love Da Kids"
Another beat by Goldfingaz that really doesn't impress me much. I don't like Keak's flow on the hook at all. His verses are alright, but he comes much harder on other tracks than this one. I was a dissapointed with this track, it could have been left off of the album. Decent song at best.

14) "Still Can't Get Enough"
D.J. Epik brings the heat with this tight ass beat. Keak comes much harder on this song than the previous two. He talks about his past in music and how people still can't enough of his music. The hook is much better on this song. I'm feeling every aspect of this track. A tight song overall, I'm feeling it to the fullest.

15) "That Be Me" ft. Bra-Hef, Whoday
E-A-Ski lays down a fucking tight ass beat for this song. Keak comes hard on the hook and on his verse. Bra-Hef is alright on this one and Whoday is alright too. It's another one of those songs that should have been left as a Keak solo. Still this is a hard beat and solid mic work by Keak Da Sneak. A good song overall.

16) "Think You Real"
Another solid E-A-Ski beat for this song. Keak comes with some solid lyrics on the mic on both the verses and the chorus. He talks about how people think they're hard just because they've got a gun. A good track overall, I'm feeling it.

17) "To Wicked"
More tight E-A-Ski production to finish the album with. This one has a bit of a slower pace to it. Keak comes hard on the mic with a good delivery and some good lyrics to go along with it. A good beat, good lyrics on the mic and a good chorus, a good song to finish the album with.

Overall this was a very good album from Keak. The only thing that I really would have liked to see was some better features. The song with E-40 was tight as fuck, but then he puts on no namers on the other featured songs. The production was tight as fuck, mostly done by Rick Rock and E-A-Ski. There were some hit songs that you could keep on solid replay and only a few you skip right through. This is much better than the last two album releases from Keak, Farm Boyz and Retaliation, but this is the "real" first release since Hi-Tek. This album isn't quite as good as Hi-Tek, but there are definately songs on here that rival the cuts from Hi-Tek and Sneakacydal. If you like Keak at all you're going to love this album. A tight ass release from Keak, I'm feeling it to the fullest.

Overall Rating = 5/5

I was never a big Keak fan because to me he was inconsistent. I thought his last album HiTek was okay but nothing special, and I noticed on some tracks he would tear it up but on other tracks I wasnt feelin him at all like his verse on UGA.

But this new album definitely seperates Keak from the mediocre group. Keak has grown a lot workin with E-40 and with EA Ski and Ric Rock on the beats. As a whole, the production aspect slaps. A lot of fast paced beats.

The beat aspect probably makes up half an album, but lyrically I think Keak also rose to the occasion. His flow isn't spectacular, in my opinion it rivals E-40s. But he uses his unusual voice to make up for it, often throwing quick tongue twisting phrases that hooks a listener into the music "yadidimean?!" The album is also diverse in aspects and fresh in concepts.

This is definitely a pickup for any fans of Town shit, any 3xkrazy fans or Keak fans, any fans ok Ski or Ric Roc on the boards, and most bay area fans. Definitely in the top 10 albums that dropped this year from the bay and probly in the upper half.

4/5

my 2 cents.

SNEAKACYDAL and HI-TEK were both cool, but COPIUM stands out for me because Keak carried more of the songs himself and kept the guest list to a minumum...

PEACE!

After hearing this album a lot in the last few weeks since I did this review these are my thoughts:

1) I think Hi-Tek is a better album than Copium, but only by a little.
2) I think the hit songs on Sneakacydal are better compared to Copium and Hi-Tek, but there are banging songs on all three.
3) Overall it's still a 5/5, but I usually play more Hi-Tek and Sneakacydal over Copium.
4) Copium is an overall tight album that has only one or two songs which I skip through compared to about 4 or 5 on Sneakacydal and about 3 on Hi-Tek.

So his albums from best to worst would be:

1) Hi-Tek
2) Copium
3) Sneakacydal

(These don't count the 3x Krazy albums or Retaliation, Farm Boyz or Da Unda Doggs because those aren't "true" Keak solos.)

Late!
