1) "Surrender Your Mind" First Degree The D.E.
The much anticipated FU2 gets started right with a little intro type track from First Degree. He does a bit of talking to a tight ass beat which Nick Peace helped co-produce. Just some coo laid back DE shit right here. A nice start to this compilation.
2) "I" BeGee, First Degree The D.E., Andre Nickatina
I have waited so long to hear First Degree and Andre Nickatina on the same track and finally my dreams have come true. BeGee starts it off with an alright verse. First Degre and Phonk Beta lay down a slappin beat. First Degree lays down some coo flows on the hook and puts it down with tight lyrics on the second verse. Nicky has the third verse and puts down some coo lyrics, but I don't like the little effect they did to his voice. Even with that little let down it's still a tight ass song. One of my favorites and hopefully just the beginning of duo tracks with these two.
3) "Sweetz" First Degree The D.E., Phonk Beta
First Degree and Phonk Beta put down a tight, tight ass beat that knoccs hard for this song. First Degree starts it off with a little talking and then gets into flowing. The only word I can use to describe this track is unique. Definately some lyrics you won't find on any other album around. Phonk Beta puts down a coo verse to finish the song with. A tight track overall, I'm feeling it.
4) "Grind All Nite" Lilla D'Mone, First Degree The D.E.
The premiere for Lilla D'Mone. She has some decent flows on the mic and I like her vocals. She has a good voice for singing and I like that a little more than her verses. First Degree, Phonk Beta and Andre Rivers handle the production for the song. A nice laid back feel to the beat. First Degree also puts it down on the final verse. A nice debut for Lilla D'Mone. A good song overall, I'm feeling it.
5) "Gangsta Fairwell" A.K., BeGee, First Degree The D.E.
Brotha Lynch does a little talking in the background. A.K. starts it off with a tight ass verse. First Degree and Phonk Beta come together to make more of gangsta styled beat with a little laid back feel to it. First Degree lays down those coo vocals on the hook. BeGee has a good verse. One of the longest tracks on the album. A tight ass song, bump it loud!
6) "Forbidden Unfullfilling Rollercoaster" First Degree The D.E.
A dark type of feel to this track through the production solely by First Degree. The only solo song the The DE. He comes with that half rap half talk style on the mic. A very unique type of style that no one else has. A very different type of track right here. A very interesting song.
7) "Medicine" First Degree The D.E., Lilla D'Mone
One of my favorite tracks. I like the guitar work by Marky Mark. Lilla lays down some soft vocals on the hook which fit right in with First Degree's soft vocals. The beat by First Degree is clean and has a fast pace to it. This song is more like a sing off between The DE and Lilla. A very good song overall, I'm feeling.
8) "Mary Jane" Lilla D'Mone
This is a song from Lilla's up and coming album called "Music Trance." She comes with some nice vocals on the mic. The beat by First Degree and Syko has a good pace to it and I like the feel of the track. She has the perfect fit for any female hook vocal. A nice little snippit, although it's more like an R&B song than a rap song.
9) "Hustlin' Humans" Equipto
A decent beat from The DE, but I've heard better from him. Equipto puts it down with some tight ass lyrics though. First Degree does the hook for the track with some coo lyrics. I wish it would have had a little better production, but I'm feeling Equipto and First Degree on the mic.
10) "P.A.B." Smoov-E, Balance, A.K.
Punk Ass Bitch is what P.A.B. stands for. Smoov-E starts it off with an ok verse. Balance has the next verse and puts it down with some tight lyrics. A.K. finishes the song off with a coo verse. The beat by First Degree and Andre Rivers is tight as fuck. I'm feeling this track to the fullest, even Smoov-E who I normally don't like. A tight song overall.
11) "Sacramento Chainz" Tyronne The Cona Dwella
Tyronne is really The DE. He talks about M Sane on this song. He talks about how he has some beef with him. Now I know why M Sane isn't on this compilation at all. Just some talking by First Degree leading into a little singing. A nice little beat playing in the background by First Degree and Nick Peace.
12) "Breakout!" P-Folks, First Degree The D.E., Brotha Lynch Hung
First Degree and Andre Rivers lay down a hard beat. P-Folks starts it off with a decent verse, although I like him better when his flow is a little slower. Brotha Lynch has the second verse and spits some coo lyrics. The DE does the hook and has the third verse. He comes with some good hardcore lyrics on this one. Not the best DE Brotha Lynch hook up, but an ok song overall, I was expecting a little more.
13) "Forbidden Unfullfilling Rollercoaster" Phonk Beta
This has the same beat as number six, except with Phonk Beta putting down some nice piano notes in the background. Still a coo beat, but I like it even better with the piano. A nice little instrumental track, a must have on a DE album.
14) "Matrixx" Balance
Seam lays down the beat for this song. A coo beat at that as Balance comes with some tight lyrics on the mic. I like his style as he puts it down with some coo gangsta and hip-hop lyrics. I'd like to hear more from this man after hearing this song. I'm feeling it to the fullest.
15) "Go Home, Tyronne" Tyronne The Cona Dwella, Lilla D'Mone
Probably the tightest beat on the whole album to end it with. I like the fast pace of this song. The DE talks about writing lyrics for Andre Nickatina, Brotha Lynch and some others. Some funny lines from the DE. Lilla lays down some sweet vocals on the mic. A funny little track to end the album with, I'm feeling it to the fullest.
Overall this was a coo compilation and definately a good DE album. I was feeling this a little more than The Big Black Bat, but not as much as some of his older albums. DE did come with more of those unique styled flows on the mic and more of that tight production. A good mix of people and finally he and Andre Nickatina did a song together. I like Lilla D'Mone a lot on her songs, I think her voice is perfect for some hooks. Everyone came with some tight verses and the beats were on point for the most part. I like FU1 a little bit more than this, but this is still a tight ass album. I'm feeling it to the fullest. If you're a DE fan this is a must get, and if you're not, it's still a tight album to pick up, you won't be dissapointed.
