1) "Breakin News"
Rick Rock produces a cool beat to get the album started off with. E-40 comes with some more of his original lyrics that make his music as recognizable as it is. The title track is pretty good, not one of my favorites, but still a decent song to knoc. Rankin Scroo does some background vocals on the hook with his raggae style. A decent song to start the album with.

2) "Hot"
One of my favorite songs on the album right here. Rick Rock lays down a tight ass beat that slaps. E-40 comes cool on the mic with some good lyrics as Mo Mo lays down some background vocals saying hot all the time. The beat really gets your head going on this song. A tight ass song overall, I'm feeling it to the fullest.

3) "I Got Dat Work" ft. Turf Talk
Rick Rock lays down a decent beat that has a good pace to it. I'm not really feeling Turf Talk much on this song. I think this song would have been a lot better with a better hook. A decent song overall, not really into it mostly for the hook.

4) "Quarterbackin'" ft. Clipse
My favorite song on the album. E-A-Ski and CMT lay down a fucking tight ass beat that has that perfect club feel to it, just that perfect pace to it. Clipse comes hard on the mic on two verses as E-40 has the second verse and spits a good one too. They talk about being out there just hustling and doing your thang. A tight ass song overall, one of my favorite beats from E-A-Ski of all time.

5) "Married to the Ave"
Back to another Rick Rock beat. This one is alright, not his best work on the album. E-40 talks about being married to the ave for life. One of the few songs on the album that E-40 does both the verses and the hook. A solid song for the most part, but the beat could have been better. Still a good song overall.

6) "One Night Stand" ft. DJ Kayslay
Another one of the singles. Rick Rock lays down a pretty good beat, but I'm not really into it that much. DJ Kayslay does some talking on the mic. Stress and Doonie of the Federation handle the hook with some good vocals. E-40 brings some good flows to the mic talking about that one night stand. A pretty good song for the most, not really my type of song though. A solid song overall.

7) "I Hope U Get This Kite"
This is produced by Kavior & Ova Dose. A decent beat to this song. It has a sample from Imagination by Earth, Wind and Fire. E-40 comes with some ok lyrics on the mic. Not really feeling this song at all, the production doesn't come through for me. I skip this one every time.

8) "Act a Ass" ft. Rankin Scroo
Back to another tight ass song. A tight beat by Rick Rock for this one. E-40 comes hard on the mic that fits the production well. Kavio and Young Mugzi have some background vocals on the hook and Rankin Scroo does some more singing on the hook and also has a verse to finish the song off. A tight ass song overall, I'm feeling it to the fullest.

9) "Anybody Can Get It" ft. Lil Jon & The Eastside Boyz, Bone Crusher, David Banner
If you like Lil Jon and the Eastside Boyz then you'll like this song. It has that typical Lil Jon sound on the hook and the same type of beat produced by Lil Jon himself. Bone Crusher has the first verse and comes hard on the mic, I'm feeling his hard style and hard lyrics. E-40 has the second verse and comes with some good lyrics although he sounds a bit out of place on this song. David Banner finishes it off, but I'm not really into his verse. A tight song though, if you like Lil Jon you'll like this one, if you don't like him then you might not like this song. A tight song though for me.

10) "Gasoline" ft. Turf Talk, Doonie of the Federation
Another one of my favorite songs. Rick Rock did it right with this beat. I remember first hearing this song on the radio about 4 months ago and loving it. Turf Talk and The Federation are on the hook with some vocals. Just a tight ass song overall, I'm feeling it to the fullest.

11) "Show & Prove" ft. Goapele
Sam Bostic lays down an ok beat at best. One of those slow sentimental type tracks with some female vocals in the background that I'm not feeling at all. E-40 comes with some good lyrics on the mic, but the beat does him dirty. I'm not feeling this song at all, the production needs to go with the quickness. Skip it every time.

12) "This Goes Out"
Big Smash lays down an ok beat, but I'm not into it at all. The hook by Turf Talk is not good at all. E-40 comes hard on the mic with some tight verses, but the beat lets him down and the hook gets annoying. Would have been better with a new hook at least and a new beat would have been even better.

13) "Northern Califoolya" ft. San Quinn, Messy Marv, B-Legit, E-A-Ski, Keak Da Sneak, James "Stomp Down" Bailey
Rick Rock lays down a tight beat on the hook, but the beat changes on the verses and sounds incredably boring. Plenty of good mic work, E-40 starts it off followed by B-Legit, San Quinn, Messy Marv, E-A-Ski and than Keak Da Sneak. Stomp Down Baily does some talking to finish off the song. A tight song for the flows, but the beat needed to be tweaked with on the verses. Still a good song overall, I'm feeling it.

14) "That's a Good Look 4 U"
Nick "Fury" Loftin lays down an ok beat, but I can't really get into it. I don't like the hook at all. It has that mainstream hip-hop feel to it, but I'm not really into it. The beat could have been a lot better. E-40 does his thang on the mic, but I just can't get into this song at all.

15) "If if Was a 5th"
Bosko produces a cool laid back beat. Mo Mo lays down some nice background vocals. E-40 comes tight on the mic with some original lyrics. Back to another solid song with this track. A cool, laid back song that has a good feel to it. I'm feeling it.

16) "Wa La" ft. The Mossie, Mo Mo
Mo Mo laid down the beat for this song, but I'm not into it much. E-40 and The Mossie come cool on the mic. It's a solid song for the most part, but I usually skip it, not really one of my favorites.

17) "Pharmaceutical Outro"
Droop-E lays down a cool beat for this song. It has a good pace to it as E-40 comes cool on the mic. A cool song to finish the album with. Not one of my favorites, but still worth a bump or two.

18) "Quarterbackin' (DJ Quick remix)" ft. Clipse
This is just a little bonus cut with a remix of the beat by DJ Quick. I'm feeling the original beat by E-A-Ski about a thousand times more. Just a little bonus song to include on the album.

Overall this was a decent album from E-40. I thought that his last album Grit & Grind was a lot better than this one. The stand out songs on this one are better than on Grit & Grind, but the filler tracks just don't stand up to the fillers on Grit & Grind. I wasn't into the beats for the most part. The features were pretty good although I didn't like Turf Talk at all. There are about 4 or 5 really tight songs and the rest are just filler material to me. A decent album, I was really expecting a lot more than this from 40. He did hold his own on the mic again with this release, but it just seems like the production let him down. It could have been a lot better than it is.

Overall Rating = 3/5
