Disc 1

1) "You Can Get It" Playa Rae
A slow paced beat by Faded Monk to get the album started with. Playa Rae comes with some alright flows on the mic. He talks about how you have to make your own way through life. A nice slow paced jam to get the album started with.

2) "I Does This" Syko
D-Sane lays down a solid beat for Syko to flow to on this song. Syko comes with some tight flows on the mic with a perfect pace and style to his spit. I've heard better beats from D-Sane, but I still like this one. A tight song overall, I'm feeling both the production and the clean flows by Syko.

3) "Killa Instinctz" Young Cap ft. Blac
This track is from the Shut Em Down album from Young Cap. Larry K lays down a tight ass beat to get things started. Young Cap puts down some coo flows on the mic with a hardcore style to them. Blac is tight on this song too. A tight song all around, I'm feeling it overall.

4) "What U Know Bout Dat" DJ Cree ft. Platinumized Players
I'm not feeling this track that much. The beat by DJ Cree is alright, but the flows are not good and I'm not feeling the hook. It sounds a bit like a club beat, but the flows don't hold their own on this one, just skip it.

5) "Fiesta" Mister Bilistic ft. Poynt
A2DaK lays down an ok beat for this song. I have really been sleeping on Mister Balistic because I'm loving his flows on this song. His style fits the beat well. The hook by Poynt is pretty good as well. A very good song overall, I'm feelig it.

6) "Knock a Hoe" Free Agents (Young Dru, Jay Tee, B-12)
I have really slept on the Free Agents, if this song is any indication of how their album is then I definately need to check it out. The flows by all three are clean and the beat by Johnny Z is tight as fuck. This is from the album Free Agents featuring all three rappers. A tight ass jam overall, I'm feeling it to the fullest.

7) "State 2 State Hustlin'" Dajia Voo, Bishop
Rob Dog lays down this solid beat. It has that club type of feel to it. The flows are solid, but I'm not really feeling the delivery from either rapper. I still like the lyrics they put down, but they needed a little better delivery. A decent song overall.

8)"Forfeit" Natural Born Dankstaz ft. Tweedy
I'm not really feeling the beat by Mo Love at all, but the flows by NBD are on point. The song has a slower pace to it, which seemed to bring it down for me. I would have liked to hear a faster paced song with their delivery. Tweedy lays down some nice female vocals on the hook. A decent song overall, although it needed some better production.

9) "Shades of Black" R.E.S. ft. Megan
One of those soft message type of tracks. R.E.S. puts down some nice flows with some good lyrics and Megan has some nice female background vocals. The beat by Travis Anderson is alright and fits the mood of the song. Not really my taste of song, but it does a good job of fitting that "message" type of song.

10) "Almost Famous" Mista Cane
Probably my favorite song on the first disc. Mista Cane puts it down on this song talking about all the up and coming rappers being almost famous. The beat by E.Q. is on point and fits Mista Cane's flow perfectly. A tight ass song from start to finish, I'm loving it.

11) "Bounce With Me" Mr. Sche
Mr. Sche lays down his own beat for this song that fits perfectly with his flow. It has a slow to medium pace to it that fits his delivery well. It could have used a better hook, but I like his verses a lot. A good jam overall, I'm feeling it.

12) "Lite Em' Up" Playa Rae
I like this Playa Rae song a lot better than the first one. The beat by Yung Sinn is tight ass fuck and seems to fit Playa Rae's style a lot better. I like his faster paced flow on this song. He talks about some side show type of shit. A tight ass song overall, one of my favorite on the album. Dump this one in the trunk!

13) "Playaz Way" Denial ft. LSD
A decent slow paced beat by Denial and LSD as they come with some pimp styled lyrics on the mic. A decent track overall as they talk about girls and liquor. Kind of a laid back type of song.

14) "Cougars on a Mission" Solitary 1 ft. Dobad
Joe L lays down a solid beat for this song. Solitary 1 starts it off with a coo verse. DoBad comes tight as well. A tight jam overall, except I think it could have used a harder beat to really get into the full effects of the lyrics, still a good song overall.

15) "I'm Thru With It" Matai ft. Awol Soldier
The beat by Eric Lee is pretty good and I like the hook a lot, but I'm not feeling the verses at all. This is more like an R&B type of song to me. They talk about a girl that always leaves. Too much like and R&B song for me. A good song, but I'm personally not liking too much.

16) "That's the Way it Is" Keltic Tribe
A decent beat by Mighty Mike for this song. Keltic Tribe comes alright on the mic, but they flow a little too fast for the beat. I'm not really feeling this track that much, decent at best, but I skip it.

17) "Destiny" Sham
A decent beat by Mr. Dilligence at best. Sham comes with some coo lyrics on the mic, but I'm not feeling his delivery. I like the lyrics he spits a lot though. This is from his album Low Down Dirty. A decent song overall.

18) "Mellow" Yun-Gun
This is the only solo song from Yun-Gun's 16 Shots Bloc 2 Bloc. He handles his own production with a coo beat. Some good flows on the mic. Not the best track from Yun-Gun, but a good example of his music on both the lyrical and production ends.

Disc 2

1) "Small Townerz" Moonshine Bandits ft. Derrty D, Abomb
This track has a catchy beat to it. The hook is pretty good and is also very catchy. Moonshine reps the 209 on this one and they flow all about living in a small town in the valley. A pretty good track overall. This song is from the Moonshine Bandit's album Soggy Crakerz Soaked in Beer.

2) "Ain't no Turnin' Back" Young Life
Young Life comes tight on the mic on this song. The beat by Big & Oral Bee is clean and has a good pace to it. The hook needed some work, but the verses are on point by Young Life as he spits some tight lyrics. A clean track overall, I'm feeling it.

3) "Strike First" Errelevent
Errelevent lays down his own beat for this song. I like the pace to this track. Errelevent puts down some nice vocals on the mic with some solid lyrics. Just a coo laid back type of feel to this track as Errelevent puts it down on the mic and on the production.

4) "Cold as Ice" $crilla Mac ft. 11/5, Tekpot
Tekpot comes with a clean beat on the production end of this song. $crilla Mac and 11/5 put it down on the mic. This track is from $crilla Mac's album On Da Hustle. A coo beat with some good flows make this a tight song overall, I'm feeling it.

5) "What's Goin On?" J'Ro Ika Bod
A decent beat by Brian of Dbl Knuckles, but nothing special. J'Ro Ika Bod comes with some coo flows on the mic. This is from his People Person album. A decent track overall, nothing really special, but a coo listen.

6) "Trust Me" South Coast Coalition ft. Lil' Mook
Not feeling this song at all. The beat by John Bass is ok, but the flows are not good at all. I'm not feeling the styles by any of the rappers on this song. Just skip it.

7) "Gotta Slow Down" Playa Rae
Rob Dog puts down an ok beat, but nothing special. Playa Rae comes with some coo lyrics talking about girls. He talks about hooking up with some girls at a show. It's a coo laid back type of song. Pretty good song as the slow pace fits with the title.

8) "Want Everything, Need Nothing" Ghazi
A nice piano in the background as Ghazi lays down his own solid beat. He comes alright on the mic with a decent style. I like his production more than his mic work. A decent track overall.

9) "For so Long" Arjay ft. Bullet
Arjay comes with those soft vocals on the mic with that R&B style. I'm not feeling Bullet's style at all, but I like the mic work by Arjay. A coo laid back R&B beat by Tory Ward. A good song if you're a fan of R&B tracks. I think it would have been better if it just had Arjay's vocals without Bullet. A good song overall.

10) "International Intro" Playa Rae
Just a little intro to the next song by Playa Rae.

11) "Homies & Bitches" U$O
U$O is from Denmark and raps in Danish. The beat by Jesta is alright, but I can't get past the other language. Might have sounded coo if it was in English, but I'm not feeling this much the way it is.

12) "As the World Spins" F.E. (Mr. Kee, Dutch, Dap Daniel)
My favorite track on the second disc. Dap Daniel lays down a tight, tight ass beat to get things started. Mr. Kee starts it off with a solid verse. Dutch comes tight and Dap Daniel comes alright. F.E. puts it down on this song, I'm feeling it to the fullest. Knocc this song!

13) "Thug Friends" Romeo ft. Mr. Sche
A pretty good beat by Mr. Sche. I like this track more than the last one he was on. Romeo and Mr. Sche come tight on the mic. The hook is alright, but I like the verses a lot more. A coo song overall.

14) "Bay Luv" II Sicc ft. K9 of Deadlock
I'm not really feeling this song from II Sicc. J-Locc lays down an ok beat and I like him on the hook and his verse, but the rest of the song isn't that good. I was expecting a little more from II Sicc judging on their past work. Not really feeling too much.

15) "Till We D.O.A." Dem Yunginz ft. Playa Rae
A solid beat by J that has a good slap to it. Playa Rae and Dem Yunginz come with some coo verses on the mic. I like the hook the most out of anything on the song, but the whole fits together well. I'm feeling it overall.

16) "One Way Playaz" Decoy ft. Mr. Freeze
Decoy lays down a solid beat with some nice piano work in the background. Decoy starts the song off with a hard verse. I'm feeling the hook too as they put it down for One Way Records. Mr. Freeze comes tight too, although I like Decoy a little more. Both come tight though, one of my favorite songs on the album, I'm feeling it to the fullest.

17) "Outro" Playa Rae
Playa Rae does a whole lot of shout outs to pretty much everyone who appeared on the album. A coo beat by Rob Dog in the background and he does his talking. A nice way to end the album.

18) "My City" Playa Rae *Bonus Track*
For whatever reason the bonus track doesn't play on my CD. Would have liked to hear it though, I was looking forward to another Playa Rae song.

Overall this was a coo compilation. It really gives those "on the rise" artists a chance to shine. A lot of good work from a variety of people from across the globe really. I liked Mista Cane, Playa Rae, Decoy, F.E. and the Free Agents songs the best, but the whole album had tight jams from start to finish. If you're a fan of up and coming music in the Bay Area and across the country then I'm sure you'll be feeling this album. With two clean disc of over 30 songs this is a good pick up for any up and coming rap fan.

Overall Rating = 4/5
