AOD - Noncomposmentis

1) "Introduction"
Elemental lays down a sweet ass beat to get the album started off with. It's just a short flow from AOD, but the beat by Elemental is knoccin in the background with it's dark ass feel. A nice short little intro to the album.

2) "Obstacles"
AOD is a group featuring the artists Sinn, Neves, View 1, Zicafekt and Madnus. Together they handle the lyrics and the production for the album. This song comes tight with a solid beat done by Sinn. It's not my favorite song on the album, but it has a good feel to it. They talk about facing obstacles everyday in life. A good song overall.

3) "Ripped 2 Bitz"
Another Sinn produced song and he comes even more tight on this beat than the previous one. This one has that horrorcore style to it. AOD rips the mic up with some hardcore flows on the mic talking about murder to a tight ass beat. This is one of my favorite songs on the album. It has some good work on the mic and a tight beat to go along with it. I'm feeling it to the fullest. It's more for those who are big on that horrorcore type style.

4) "Tears"
View 1 handles the production and puts a nice paino in the background to give that slow sad feel to the song. They talk about death following them everywhere they go and how sad their life is. I don't like the hook at all though, but the verses are pretty good. it could have been better with a better chorus, but overall it's a decent song.

5) "Sacrilegious" ft. First Degree The DE
Another one of my favorite songs and not just because I'm a big DE fan. The beat done by Sinn is hard as fuck and has a tight ass dark sound to it. First Degree handles the chorus with some nice vocals. The verses are tight as fuck though. They talk about being sacrilegious. A tight ass song overall, I'm feeling it to the fullest.

6) "Broken Silence"
Zicafekt gets his first shot at production with this song. He lays down a tight dark feeling beat that has a good sound to it. The flows are pretty good on this one too. I'm not sure who everyone from AOD is on every song, but whoever this member is he comes with some tight flows. I like the chorus too. This is a just a good song from start to finish and in every way. A clean ass song overall, I'm feeling it to the fullest.

7) "Late Night" ft. Neba Konezer
Back to another dark ass sounding beat done by Sinn. Once again the flows are coming tight on this one. Neba Konezer comes with an ok verse, but AOD holds it down with more hardcore flows on the mic. A tight song overall, I'm feeling it to the fullest.

8) "Nothing at All"
Zicafekt lays down another solid beat for this song. I'm not a big fan of the flows on this one though. I don't like the chorus that much. The verses are pretty good, but I just can't into this song that much. I was feeling the other songs on the album more than this one. A decent song, but there are better ones on the album than this one.

9) "Head Up"
Zicafekt is at it again with a tight ass beat with some clean as background instruments going on. The flows are better on this song than the previous one. The song just seems to keep getting better and better as it goes along. A tight ass song overall, I'm feeling it to the fullest, the beat really gets your head moving and keeps you interested. Tight song.

10) "Getaway"
Zicafekt back at you with another good beat, this one again has some piano work in the background with some other good instruments. The flows deal with that pressure and pain and how they want to get away from it all. I'm not feeling Zicafekt on the mic as much as him on the production end of the song. A good song overall, I'm feeling it.

11) "Times" ft. Playa Rae
Back to another beat produced by Sinn with more piano work in the background, I'm not feeling the beat as much as some of the other beats done by Sinn. The flows are pretty good. I'm feeling Playa Rae as a feature on this song. AOD comes tight on the verses too. I don't like the background vocals on the hook though. They talk about having hard times. It's a pretty good song, except that it's another sentimental type song and it's back to back with another one. I think they should have left it on the album, buy maybe they should have spread this song and the previous one out more, not back to back.

12) "All Bottled Up"
Sinn comes at it again on the production end and lays down a tight beat that gets your head moving. AOD brings the heat again on the mic with tight flows by all who grabs the mic. I'm really feeling the beat by Sinn though. Another tight ass song, I'm feeling it to the fullest.

13) "Living in the Dark" ft. Evil Poetry, B.G. Evil, Young K, Neba Konezer
Once again Sinn lays down a solid beat. One of the shortest songs on the album with the most amount of people on it. The verses are very short with everyone spitting just a few bars each. It's a cool song though to hear a variety of voices to this clean beat by Sinn. Not one of my favorite songs, but there are some good verses here.

14) "Rap Fan" ft. Elemental (narrated by Brotha Lynch Hung, Tall Cann G)
Brotha Lynch and Tall Cann just do some talking on this one, no flowing from either. Elemental lays down a tight ass beat though with some nice background instruments going on in the background. AOD brings the heat on the mic with some tight flows again. They talk about a rap fan. Elemental comes with a hard style on the mic and he spits a decent verse, he could have slowed down his flow just a bit to make it fit better with the beat. Still though this is a tight ass song overall, I'm feeling it to the fullest.

15) "Thoughts of Sinn"
The last beat produced by Zicafekt as he produces another tight beat. Sinn brings the heat on this one. I think he has the best style out of all the AOD members. He can also bring the heat on the production too. A hard ass track overall, I'm feeling it to the fullest.

16) "Unholy Roller"
View 1 produces his second and final beat for the album. He brings a good beat to the table, but I think the other producers do a better job than the two beats he made. More tight flows on the mic with AOD rippin up the mic. A tight song overall, I'm feeling it to the fullest.

17) "Now it's Gone"
The last beat done by Sinn right here has some more good background instruments going on. I don't really like the slower pace to it though. More of that sentimental type feel to this song. Not the best of the slower songs, but still a good feel to it. A solid song overall, not one of my favorites, but I like it.

18) "Introduction Blacc Mass"
Another beat done by Elemental that really impresses me. The hard dark feel to this one gets your head into the track. No flows, just an instrumental by Elemental to finish off the album, but a nice way to complete this solid album from AOD.

Overall this was a very good album from AOD. It features some of the best production for that dark, evil feeling. The flows were pretty good for the most part, I liked Sinn the most out of all the members, although with five I got a little confused on who was who sometimes. However, AOD does feature some tight raps by all five members. The features were alright, but they could have done the album without any features and it would still be tight. I think they put in one or two too many slower sentimental type songs, I was feeling those dark songs a lot. All in all though this album from AOD had tight production, solid flows and a couple good features. This is definately a good album to check out, especially if you're into that deep, dark type of rap.

Overall Rating = 4/5

Well I would like to hear a few more uptempo beats and from what I hear you guys are already on your way on that. I don't think you guys really need features to make an album better, but if you wanted to I would say just go for one big name feature and just leave it at that, no need to overstock the album with features that aren't worth putting on. Other than that I would say keep with the production it's very good from everyone. I see you guys want to keep those more sentimental type songs, so if you do just space them out some, don't put them back to back.

Other than that your album would be perfect. I hope that input helps you guys out to become even better. Good luck to you folks.

Late!

@Blutarski - Good lookin out on th tips folkz. Up tempo was my 1st big suggestion along with Zicafekt, and so far most of the new stuff is that way. Were defintley gonna keep the features low. Were looking to get some bigger names on the next one, but they will be kept few and far between. The production will stay the same, expect alot more from Elemental ( Straight Fire whats he's done so far, look for his album coming soon too ) and there is another producer that we want to work with, and as soon as that's connected well let you know. And actually dont expect to much of the sentimental tracks. They were done cause alot of us were going threw hard times. Right now we stand on different ground, so the songs we do are different, its more like War / fuck you type music ( by that I mean just up tempo, hard hitting, in your face, this is us type shit ). We will always speak on life and deep subjects, but we dont want a depressing album either.

Again thanks for the review folkz.
