Andre Nickatina - Bullets, Blunts N Ah Big Bankroll
1) "Nasty Like College Chicks"
A pretty good beat produced by Nick Peace, I've heard better beats from him, but this one has a good bass line and some nice background instruments. Andre Nickatina comes talking about all those college chicks. Some of that typical Nickatina music, a little weird, yet it sounds just right. A good song overall.
2) "These Clowns" ft. Equipto
The beat is produced by Q-York, who lays down a slow paced beat with some good background instruments. Equipto starts it off on the mic with the first verse. I like Quipto with a faster flow, but this is cool too though. Nickatina comes with some weird ass lyrics on the mic. It's a cool slow paced song overall, I'm feeling it.
3) "Blood in My Hair"
Nick Peace lays down an interesting beat to say the least. It has some violins in the background with some other background sounds being added in that don't reallly belong there. Nicky comes ok on the mic, not really my flavor though. I wasn't really feeling this song that much, doesn't really come off tight to me at all.
4) "The Mizzle" (instrumental)
An instrumental produced by Nick Peace has a nice sound to it. There is a flute that takes up most of the background instruments, but there are a few other drums and instruments thrown in as well. A cool laid back instrumental to break up the pace of the album. I've heard better beats from Nick, but this one is pretty good too.
5) "Enter Heaven Thru the Backdoor" ft. Krushadelic
Krushadelic lays down the beat for this song as brings a good one to the table. It sounds a little weird, but the bass line is tight and the beat bangs. I'm feeling Nicky's verses, but I'm not feeling Krushadelic on the mic at all, he needs to stick to producing. A pretty good song though, besides the verse by Krushadelic.
6) "My Wishes" ft. Equipto
I'm not really feeling the beat produced by Justin. I don't like the background instruments that much, although the bass line is solid and keeps banging. Once again the pace of the song is a bit slow for my taste. Equipto and Nickatina come alright on the mic, I just wish they would have been hooked up with a better beat than this. A decent song at best, and that's mostly for the verses.
7) "Ceazar Enrico"
An alright beat produced by Nick Peace, once again I've heard better production from him. Andre Nickatina comes alright on the mic, more of that weird style that he's getting into more and more. I'm not really feeling this song all that much, decent at best.
8) "God Gimmie G's"
This one is Produced by Nick Peace and Jun (Mr. Willie Adams). Nickatina comes with some solid mic work on this song. Another really weird song, after about a minute I seem to lose interest in it though. Not a big fan of this song, the beat is cool at first, but it gets a little annoying after awhile.
9) "1 in the Same" ft. Bobby Shaw
Q-York lays down a tight ass beat right here, probably my favorite beat on the album. Bobby Shaw starts it off on the mic, but I'm not feeling him on the mic at all. The sad thing too is that Nickatina isn't even on this song at all. It's all a Bobby Shaw solo song. I'm not feeling Bobby Shaw that much, but the beat is tight as fuck.
10) "2 T-Shirts an ah Adidas Suit"
A cool beat laid down by First Degree The D.E. Nickatia comes solid on the mic, with some solid flows. This is my favorite song on the album. The beat is solid and Nicky comes with the best style on the mic for the whole album. This is by far the best song to me. I'm feeling it to the fullest.
11) "Bonus Baby"
In the tradition of Nickatina accapellas he finishes off this album with a little accapella. A good spit by Nickatina, nice little bonus finish to the album.
Overall this album wasn't really very good at all to me. I wasn't feeling a majority of the beats, Nickatina didn't come all that tight to me, and the features weren't very good, even the songs with Equipto. For the most part I found myself only listening to track 10 and that's it. If you're a big Andre Nickatina fan and have to get all of his albums then go get it, but if you're not you might want to pass on this one, I wasn't feeling it except for like one or two songs.
