yea riposo en pace to all the children, hopefully they can recover from the disaster, luckily there wasnt more deaths.... alot of old structure there, and lots of people.... and im told it was a pretty big quake.... and yeah my family i have over there are ok from what im told...

Fucked up part about it is that the kids killed in the school were in the NEW ADDITION to the school built only months ago...It crumbled while the old structure stayed standing...One thing, never doubt the skills of old Italian stone masons!!! They make buildings that last...My uncle was one.

Yeah man, it was down in Puglia, the heel of the boot. Its quite a tragedy. I dont know if the news in the states has shown the footage from immediately after. But here in Italy, they show it all the time. There are some old italian women just screaming hysterically in the streets. Its bone-chilling to say the least. Earthquakes are very common in Italy. There are a bunch or fault lines that run through the northern parts, Umbria (region of Perugia; where I study) and up, and the southern part Campania (region of Naples) and south.
