I asked about this a while back and didn't get very many responses. I'm trying to get my foot in the door in this production game, but haven't got the right equipment to really get going, actually I have none at the moment. And I'm pretty retarded when it comes to a lot of the functions of certain equipment, so in your suggestions explain a little bit or a lot about it.

I'm planning on gettin a Triton Le pretty soon, I know a lot of folks say go with a cheaper one, but I've heard these are the one of the best and have used one before, so that's what I'm working on gettin right now.

And I see a lot of people praising Reason, but I was wondering if that is compatible with the shit you put down on the keyboard.

And I was also wondering about drum machines too. What do a lot of people use? I know you can lay shit down on Reason and a keyboard. Which is the best way?

And what else? What's the best, but at the same time what's the cheapest of the best?

If these questions sound stupid that's good, cuz I'm fuckin stupid, but hook me up with a good response. I'm sure I'll have more questions, but explain it to me like I'm a 4 year old.

Thanks

Theres a ton of posts on this topic that you should read through. I'ld suggest using the "search" option at the top of the page and go from there.

Everyone wants everything handed to them but you're better off doing your own homework. People will be more willing to help knowing that you have. You can't blame cats for not wanting to answer the same questions over and over and over. Especially when the answers can be easily looked up.

Thanks for the input. And to tell you the truth, I have been doing my homework, and I know for the most part what I'm looking for. I was just trying to get other people's thoughts on it, that's all.

USE THE SEARCH ENGINE LIKE HE SAID. YOU'LL FIND A GANG LOAD OF OPINIONS, FACTS, INFO AND ANSWERS. PERSONALLY I WOULDN'T GET A TRITON LE. THATS A WASTE OF HARD EARNED CASH. LOOK AT THE FX ENGINE ON THE TRITON LE AND COMPARE THAT TO THE TRITON. THE MACHINES *DO* SOUND DIFFERENT. HONESTLY I DON'T THINK THE TRITON LE IS ONE OF THE BEST. TO BE TRUTHFUL I BELIEVE IT'S ONE OF THE GAYEST (<--LOL). DO YOU BELIEVE A TRITON LE SOUNDS BETTER THAN A MOTIF (REGULAR MOTIF) OR FANTOM (76 OR S)?

EVERYTHING YOU BUY SHOULD BE BASED ON NEEDS, YOUR ABILITY TO LEARN, UPGRADE VALUE AND HOW *YOU* WORK. ARE YOU COMFORTABLE WITH USING A CONTROLLER? IT'S ALL ON YOU BUT TAKE THE MODS ADVICE AND USE THE SEARCH ENGINE BECAUSE YOUR QUESTIONS HAVE BEEN ASKED MILLIONS OF TIMES.
