NOt tripping on everybody on this board but most folks need to QUIT listening to rap music, period. If the album ain't CLASSIC status then it's not good enough for yall. I can remember back in the day that I bought an album because I liked the artist(s) single then took a chance on the album. After giving it a few listens, some songs I liked, some songs I didn't. THAT DOES NOT MEAN THE ALBUM ISN'T GOOD. Now, yall don't like CBO, YUK, E40, SNOOP, etc...How many artists have even one classic album? NOT TOO MANY. Just enjoy the music and stop being so critical.

That's hella stupid. It sound like you force yourself to like everything just because it's a Snoop, a Yuk, or a C-bo, etc. If the music isn't tight, it's just not tight. Simple as that. You one of the worst people on here (along with Sticky Green) that just can't accept other people's opinions if it's different than yours.

In my opinion, if there's just 2 or 3 good songs on an album, in my eyes that doesn't classify it as a "good album." Why do you think so many people wanna hear the album or download it first before they purchase it? People don't wanna pay 20 bucks for an album that's got a couple good tracks to listen to.
It's just not worth it....even the established artists (only some) don't come like they used to (back in the mid 90's) and that's probably why people are so critical. People cant "enjoy the music" if they're not feelin' it.

No offense Lou...but you are NOT one to talk...you think EVERY album from the West,South and Mid-West are great albums...so i think we need to find a medium somewhere...

But on another note...90% of the albums ive bought in the last 3 years havent been worth the money i paid...the game is just watered down IMO...

Theres alot of garbage out there since everybody and there grandma raps or has a studio and it seems on the underground tip that nobody is even puttin out quality ORIGINAL albums, they all want to take other peoples hits and make a mix tape, not hatin, just the way I feel.
I wish music was like it was in 94-97 when everybody seemed to make great music and it was all original.

@ MR. CHRONIC
Force myself to like their music??? Are you serious??? I don't even respond to something that stupid. You probably bump everything that comes on the radio. NELLY'S new single is your song of the year

@ JAE REEKAY
No offense but 79 posts wouldn't even qualify you to know what I like. Their are only a handful of GREAT albums EVER to drop and most of them ain't in rap music.

THE RADIO HAS BRAINWASHED YALL. :hurt:

Sometimes the truth hurts. Just accept it.

i mean, i dont expect every album to be on classic status, becuase that shits rare. all i expect is a decent, quality product, that'll be worth the money i spent on it. but on the other hand if the label/artist hypes the album up as a "classic", then of course imma speak on it if its no where near that status.
