I am on what.cd, if I remember correctly the email from the RIAA was just a prank pulled by someone who had access to the server that was running it, someones little brother or something, I can't remember exactly... but I do know it wasn't really the RIAA.

What brought you to this conclusion? I know it does something, there have been MIT studies done on it. As to whether or not it keeps you "safe" remains to be proven.

I've been reading and found a couple other sites similar to It-leaked. There is leakhere.com and youarethescene.net. Both sites have closed membership though ;\ Apparently leakhere has more Metal releases as opposed to it-leaked and as for youarethescene... lol one can only imagine. I'm looking at getting some invites.

Ha! Got onto Leakhere. There is soooo much shit on this site. More users (at least active) with the releases having more ratings and comments. They have a lot more metal including grind* etc. Great site..
