Folks make me laugh and shake my head when they say that the bay needs to change their content and say something new and fresh in their rhymes. Well, everythings already been done under the sun folks. For example, C BO & YOUNG BUCK rap about the same thing!!! C BO's fan base will probably never expand because he won't submit to corporate bs and make his life a big drama to the masses as far as television. There is little to nothing that separates an underground artist from a major artist except corporate monopolies. Music always speaks for itself and as long as it's true to that individual artist or group then the fans should be the judge of what's hot and what's not. Not video outlets because since local video shows and JUKEBOX was taken off cable stations in the mid 90's the brainwashing begin to take place and has caused the meltdown of music. Why should the 80/20 or 90/10 rule apply in the music industry. People of all races and backgrounds have enjoyed music since the beginning of time. I bet ADAM listened to the birds chirping and it appealed to him! My suggestion to anyone who wants to join the music industry or any other field is to learn what you are getting into and then stay rooted and grounded in order to preserve your soulman and stay true to yourself.

^ you can say fuck who thinks its about beats but then your sayin fuck alot of people.beats have 50% to do with it.the artist fills in the other 50.if it wasnt about beats then these producers wouldnt be eatin....and dissagree it bein about lyrics.i love lyrics but the shit on the mainstream is mostly below average rappers.aint no body realy spittin but a handfull.Yin Yang twins are doin it big and those mothafuckas lyricly suck.the ones that got L's like Em for instance are sellin of shock value, and everyone can disagree but his skin has alot to do with it....but i agree with Young Lou,the only difference is the outlets available....

Not really. C-Bo's past stuff was sub-par lyrically, he only recently has stepped it up

Its all about the lyrics these days.....fuck whoever think its about beats. Everything HASN'T been said, and the ways to say it HAVEN'T all been used. But people would rather emulate their idols than use them as influences
C-bo used to bust back in the day...you're trippin'. Peep Gas-chamber...

You are correct sir. They, however, both suck.
