I'm looking for one or more forums to post in regarding music.

What I'm looking for is a forum that has general discussion but centers around certain types of music: post rock/Hardcore, indy, screamo (real and/or generic), various types of metal/hardcore, progressive etc.. Much of what we discuss here. Those that may be able to help should have a general idea of what music I listen to.

I've been to absolutepunk over the past few years but only for resources and not so much discussion. The problem there is not the overall setup (which I actually like), rather, other aspects such as Fall Out Boy and Panic! being focal points; they have waayyy to many "Official" threads and some retarded Band vs. Band tournament is always going on. I'll post there if nowhere else.. but I am looking for something a little more weeded out and fine-tuned.

I'd really like to check out some other sites weather you post there or not because let's face it, this isn't the most active sub-forum on the net - and I don't really post anywhere else. If I am not specific as to what I am looking for let me know and I will further elaborate.

Any/all recommendations are welcome.

Thanks!

You have to register to see the actual boards though. I don't post really but I lurk and leech lol.

It's mostly noise music, drone, noise rock, really underground shit. Lots of the bands only put out tapes and vinyl and sometimes a CD with all their work and shit like that. It's a really cool forum though.

Okay.. in a sense that is what I'm looking for. They all seem to share a common interest in music and know what they're talking about. However, I could not identify very much of anything on there, hAha. But it's something I can use to check out different music.

If you were more into scene music how would you respond?
