I just finished watching Munich has anyone else saw it? It is a pretty good movie in my opinion. I suggest everyone here watch the movie. It shows what the Israelis and Palastinians go through and how people are used as pawns to achieve the goals of the higher eschalon.

Any other opinions?

Yeah, this is a dope movie. I had low expectations considering it's a Spielberg film and all, but he did an excellent job.

Raises a lot of good questions about dealing with Terrorism, especially the "no negotions w/terrorisits" tactict, which is what the US stance is. One of the messages I think Spielberg tries to get across is that violence only spawns more violence.

It might even question the very existance of the state of Israel. I recall one scene where a palestinian man has a pretty good speach.

^^^ Are you talking about the convo the main guy had with Ali while they were standing on the stairs? If so that was a POWERFUL scene. And I agree, one of the messages of the film is violence spawns more violence, and at times it DOES question the existance of Israel.

EDIT: LOL@THE QUOTE IN YOUR SIG

yeah that's exactly what I was talking about. It's been a few months since I watched it so my memory is a bit fuzzy on details. I got it on DVD and need to watch it again cause if I remember correctly I was a bit confused on exactly what happened during one of the scenes towards the end.

I thought the scene on the stairs was pretty deep - dude had to sit through that discussion and keep from wiggin out on that Palestinian. I believe the movie would have been incomplete and hella biased had they not dropped in that perspective. The idea about governments using people up and not even recognizing them is some wickd shit, but how else are you gonna pul that dirt off? At any rate, I am by no means a qualified movie critic, but that was one of the better movies that I have seen in a while.

They had a "Real Munich" Documentary thing on History or A&E. It had some of the Mossad agents that carried out the hits talking about it. Lot more to the real story than the movie put out there. I did like how in the movie they showed them messing up hits, which is what they did in real life. A few got pinched for killing the wrong guy and I believe thats what stopped it.

The documentary I watched was called " The Real Munich " creative name, if you get a chance check it out. I liked the movie a lot, Eric Bana has been one of my favorites since Chopper.
