Mr.Kee switched up game.
He used to walk around talkin bout SFM this and that all the time. He made the song 'Northside Soldier' on 17 reasons which was like a norte anthem...
But he has gone now to saying he isn't a Norteno. Whether he actually quit banging or decided to put that shit on raps for whatever reason is up to anyone's guess. Bottom line he comes pretty solid either way, and it was probably a smart business move on his part. Call him a bitch if you want, but there are enough Norte rappers walkin around talking about scrap killing full representing in every verse, and not just rappin on everyday life. Maybe in some peoples opinions you cant be a Norte rapper without being hardcore about shit all the time, but anyone that wants to get big that way is probly gonna have
the hardest time.
Woodie has found a good balance...everyone knows where hes from and what he claims but he isnt talking about 'flue rag fag, leva ass smurf, sur rat paisa' in every verse. Woodie is the middle ground between say a Mr.Kee who doesnt represent and a 'G.U.N' rapper who is nothing but 'red pano scrap killa' in every verse, and this is probly a large reason for his success.

Maybe your thinking of "Northside Killa" off of the Northern Ghetto Boys album. I know thats him on there saying "look into the eyes of a Northside killa" on the chorus

This thread has been done a lot. And no Kee doesn't Rep Norte. He's a northern Cali rapper but that's that. He maybe "gangsta" but he ain't a gangster(sounds sort of contracdicting). Northside Soldier was Mou$ie.

I'll admit Kee's got flows no where close to Woodie but Kee isn't a norteno. He doesn't bang Suwer or Norte he's just a rapper. He raps about the bay but not like XIV Ene type shit cuz he ain't a banger. He's cool just not a gangster.
