WHERE THE HELL IS THIS GUY? AFTER THAT TRACK HE DID WITH ANT DIDDLEY DOG ON THE BIG THANGS COMP IN 1997 HE JUST DISAPEARED AND WAS NEVER HEARD FROM AGAIN AS FAR AS RAPPING GOES. I THOUGHT HIS ALBUM "THE REBIRTH" IN 1996 WAS PRETTY DOPE. I HEARD ANT DIDDLEY DOG RETIRED THE MIC BECAUSE OF BAD RECORD LABEL SITUATIONS AND THE DEATH OF RAPPIN RON, BUT I NEVER HEARD ANYTHING ABOUT MR. ILL.

LET ME KNOW IF YOU GOT SOME INFO ON THIS.

don't know what's up with Mr. iLL, but i picked his album back in 96 the same time i was pickin up silk's the shocker album. both good buys.

saw him a couple of years ago and he said that after rappin' ron died, he didn't feel it anymore. plus his brother owned the label and was going through a thing with priority. he said if he ever got the hunger back he would rap again.

Mr ILL was so dope....so was ant diddley, too bad about ron. shit every once in a while i'll pop in the bad n fluenz disc and be thinkin about what happened to them all, just kinda fade off into the hiphop background. siccness should hunt down mr ill and get an interview with him! damn thatd be tight if they could interview mr ill, ant diddley dog, fm blue, do like a dangerous crew interview series

Mr. Ill album went to work! But let me tell you why I can't stand off-brand Bay niggaz....

I had an off-brand(suppose to be from somewhere, but don't know no one) Bay nigga come by the lab, do what he thought would be singing... yeah it never happened. But the nigga looked thru my collection and decided he would shit some light on some Bay area artist careers. In a nut shell this is what he told me about my favorite artist
B-Legit- never had hoes, he's just sloppy and fat
Mr. Ill- works as a janitor in Jack London Square
Seagram- was a marked man

why he told me... was to make himself look like he knows everything in the Town, and his block was the shit. I didn't ask all of that, and felt it was uneccasary to shit on em like that when they suppose to be from your area. That's part of the reason TBIB.

Mr. Ill & Ant Diddly need to come back ASAP!

Why do people ask about artists that havent had a cd out for the last 10 years, its ovious they moved on with their lives, most of them cats couldnt even keep up with most cats nowadays, Mr. Ill was tight, but if didnt keep up on his skill he'd only be eatin up....
