The only good track from Bombay was the intro. And the remix to Send Me An Angel, but that was on BMR 2000 cd.
After Setripp'n, the only coo Doc tracks were "Do You C," his guest features on Foe Loco's album, his verse on Assassin's born and raised in the bay, his verse on Nefarious "Only in the Studio," and a couple tracks from Doc Holliday. That cd started off good but then the Austin Powers beat came on and I traded it for cash at Rasputins.

Man, I thought that Bombay album was going to be like Setripp'n and Season of the Sicc, but better. I shoulda known when X and Lynch weren't on the features.

bombay is a big letdown after setripn, but i have to say it is his best second solo album. i don't understand why quite a few mention doc holiday, when imo that album was nothing but pure garbage except for 2 songs. bombay had a few good songs (in chronological order): bombay (intro), you and i know, recruitin', gorilla pimpin, anybody, the way i loc. that's 6 good songs out of like 18? if he had cut that album short without some of those love songs and shit, it would have received better ratings. nonetheless, it doesn't come even close to his first album.

For me no. I mean Bombay had like 4 okay songs like the Way I Loc, You and I know, and maybe Joy Ride. The intro was the only thing you could really bump, and that's cause of the sample.

Doc Holliday had less listenable songs, but better 2 hard songs from that album than 4 so-so Bombay tracks.

YEAH YOU TRIP'N', BUT BOMBAY IS A CLASSIC!!!
This is why theres a war on drugs....Cuz people get high and say stupid shit like this....Bombay wasn't no fuckin classic....Maybe since u had just got turned out to Sac music sometime in 1997 u thought everything comin out of Sac was classic material ur first few years of discovering the music.

Anyways.....Thread starter....Just delete this thread cuz ur on one big time homie.....Setripn' IMO is a Sac classic and even a gangsta rap classic in a sense but not an all around hip hop/rap classic.

Lynch was very creative with putting that shit together cuz it played out like a hood movie on CD when u listen to the music, skits and drama throughout the album.....Doc wasn't a great emcee but the album was put together pretty good....It did have to kind of grow on me cuz Doc's rhymes and his flow are nothing special but when u listen to the production, the features and everything else it turns out to be a good ass album.

The producrion ob Bombay were more polished but not better by a long shot.
