This interview is intended to get Capone/Latino Jam Records point of view.
Do you care to explain what started this rap war? I am assuming it is because you share similar names and are both Latino rap artists with the same audience.
Capone: Well to let you know from the start I have nothing to lie about in the questions asked here, I'm coming real here so people know where I stand on this. Basically I started the beef, not so much towards Capone-E, but more towards THUMP RECORDS, who put his music out. I was fucking with THUMP back in the day and our deal never panned out. Next thing you know they got this guy named Capone-E, so I took it as a personal shot to knock me out the picture. So hell yeah I was pissed off about that, I have too many years under that Capone alias to just let some peckerwood pimp me out like that. So when I checked this Capone-E guys music out I was like hell no, this vato aint taking my spot, so I went at him on Chicano world part 2.
What was it about his music that you didn't like?
Well the only song I heard was a song with a DR Dre beat to it, something like south side something or other, and this vato was just hi siding y todo, and addressing himself as CAPONE. And like I said earlier, I took it as thump records telling me haha Capone look at this. And the fact that he pimped a Dre beat like that and ODM was in the video too, put me on defense mode cause ODM knows who I am and how long I been here and he was fucking with thump records too. So I just clicked "these vatos are really trying to clown on me" Then when I saw my name on CAPONE-E's jersey! That's what did it.
OK you said it wasn't so much against Capone-E earlier in your answer, when did it become against him?
Well he was in Dallas Texas at a lowrider car show, so me and a few homies, like 30 of us rolled out there to pull a jack move on his ass. He didn't know what almost happened to him, but I am a good person at heart and prevented some bad shit from happening to him. Basically we had a conversation, he asked me hey man I heard you were talking shit about me and I was like allright, and we'll deal with this after the show, so he said firme. Anyways we went outside and talked man to man, I explained my issues and he explained his and we pretty much squashed it. Last thing I told him was if you hear any bullshit on the street from now on you ask me first, cause vatos like stirring up drama.
So everything was settled after that?
It seemed like it to me, and I felt I done the G thing to do, man I had all my people with me, he had like 5 or 6 homies with him that I saw. My perros wanted to steal all his CD's, I think there was a white cadillac they were in, they wanted to steal that and beat the fuck outta them boys, but I was like chales bueyes, that shit aint fair, and plus I'm thinking in my head that this vato might be one of us because he has that HI POWER name. And I know what HI POWER means, and yes BIG HOMIES don't just let shit happen with out paper work and at the same time this is just rap music, it aint like he turned down a job or lost some feria or something.
So what happened after that?
After the conversation, I went back to my booth and finished off the show, and my dogs were like "fuck that peace a shit Capone, this shit is gonna keep on going, fuck the fool up once and for all, if you don't we guarantee its gonna come back and haunt you" Sure enough it did.

Well, a few weeks afterwards, certain things that only we knew from that conversation, went public with a TWIST. I guess he went back to his homies and told em some lies or something. Then I get on the Internet and see all these stories, that Capone-E made us piss our pants, punked us out, bitch slapped me or something like that. Come on now, it never went down like that, not even close . If a motherfucker puts his hands on me one of us is going to jail for murder. that simple, I'm from SAN FER I can't go out like that. What really closed the casket, is that he got spared that day, I made a decision to let him make it. My homies are serious vatos, and I stepped up and said NO! When I should have listened and just smashed on his ass. Took all his product and took the car.
So basically that's the whole issue?

That vato aint got a rhyme skill in his body, and trying to come at conejo and me on his new CD man that's what gets me, the boy has balls no doubt, but when it comes to this rap shit he played his cards wrong. Just finding out he aint Mexican really did it for me. It makes me sick that my Raza is buying this vatos CD's thinking he's one of us when he is a Pakistani, I'm a Mexican rapper, and the way he dresses, man I got dead homies for dressing like that, this aint no fashion show, how can that shit happen?
