MPC 4000

i've played around with this a little bit, and i have to say it's the most bad ass piece of equipment i've ever fucked with...but that was just a quick five minute play around...
do any of yall know about this for real?
cus i'm looking to buy one, what are your thoughts on it?

dope yet complex if you work fast its not for you try a 2000 instead its got alot of options i cant see them outdoing this one for a while,also if your trying to build a studio start with it,the only thing you need is a keyboard controller im gonna sell my 2000 and get one soon

if you have ever used an MPC...you know there is nothing that can substitute for it...it's the HEAVEN of production(i have a 2000 already, i want that BIG 512mb RAM)

Kev Ski...why are you just gonna get a Keyboard Controller? to use it for Midi with the sounds on your Computer?
if so i have THE BEST midi interface for sale (besides Digidesign)

i was saying that all you really need is a mpc 4000 and a controller to play the bass and piano sounds in the mp-its got a complete sampler inside it like a s6000 so you can play every thing from it

i have a 2000xl but...

hey kev ski, there are only 2 things i want it to do. one is pitch bend the internal (not the midi) notes, and 2, be able to play the sound of 1 pad acrossed all of the midi controllers keys without having to make it into another program. for example, play the piano sound from pad a1 acrossed the entire midi keyboard but not having to create a whole new program like you do with the auto button on the 2000. does the 4000 do either of these 2 things?
