thats funny Im laughing my ass off, but when i got my mpc3000 It had no manual and I played around a little until I got one, but the truth is the manual is helpful in some ways but the best way is after all your midi is hooked upand you ready to go and figure the difference between drum tracks and midi tracks and when switching midi tracks you also change the midi channel.once you get that right there you can at least record a few trac ks and experiment with the rest a little at a time. try and learn something new everyday, learning on your own is the best bercause it will give yopu the understanding of what each function is not just following directions, the more you learn the more control you have over what you doing

what you need to get is a hard drive that stores all your sequences and samples i got one for mine wouldnt have ity no other way
