SVCD by far. Though if the divx movie is encoded correctly the quality is decent. But you can't watch divx on your dvd player.

how do people actually get hold of these movies..............what do they actually do to make the qualty look good.....and from what i see Centropy does the best rips.......

They get the movies in various ways. From taking a camera into the theater and taping it, to screeners tapes. There are a few quality types in between as you have probably seen.

Well most of the time I just get my shit from newsgroups but every once and a while I come across an ftp. You should learn to use newsgroups if you already don't know how. They beat ftps and mirc else easily.

Yeah, it cost money. But if you download as much as I do it's worth it. I download several GB a day easily.

I don't fucc with mirc, I can't stand it. For newsgroups you have to pay for server access, I use www.usenet.com and www.usenet-access.com the second is cheaper. I have an account with both. Then you download a newsreader, I use newsbin pro. After that go to http://binnewz.distnet.dk/ or www.newzbin.com to see which groups have what. It's trial and error at first. Once you get the hang of you will be wondering how you made it this long with out it.
