motif es 8 q'z?

im not with yamahas at all my homie just copped the motif es 8 and this keyboard is complicated as fuck i have to learn it so i can show him i havent really messed with it that much so please dont think im new to this shit

whats the deal on the patches?seems like my old motif rack has way more patches and sicker ones!am i finding all of its sounds?i go to pattern when i made a beat and there was only a 5 groups with 128 sounds in each am i just not finding the rest?(minus gm)

what cards and shit can he buy to blow this bitch out with sounds?i noticed they had rom cards and sample librarie cds

does anyone suggest gettin the motif hard drive or is it a pain in the ass?should he stick to regular memory sticks?

i hope someone can help me out cuz this thing is confusing me im used to korgs and rolands i do have the old motif rack and that thing is complicated too but this es 8 is just startin to get plain annoying

Motif ES rack has the most patches, followed by the motif es workstation, followed by the motif rack but the least amount is found in teh motif classic workstation.

Press PATTERN
Press MIXING
Press EDIT and press a # from 1-16 from the track select group.


You'll be able to cycle hrough everything that way but....If you believe these are all the sounds the keyboard has to offer you're wrong. Each PATCH consists of 1-4 tones/blocks. Why don't you change some of those tones/blocks or cut some of them ON?

www.motifator.com . The board takes PLG boards. Blow it out according to needs.
