Thats good man, keep it up. I started college last semester with hopes of immediately starting C/C++. Much to my dismay you have to knock out over a year's worth of pre-req's just to start it. So I began the classes to start my way there, but I said fuckit because they were throwing me in "computer concepts" classes where I had to show the teacher how to do half the shit. So I just started on a business major. I still really want to learn C/C++, hopefull somewhere along the lines I can find a place that will teach it to me without pre-req's. I can understand making me take a VB class first, but what they want me to learn is rediculous. Anyways, I am always fond of people trying to learn programming because it is a much sought after skill. Good luck.

you can usually get right in c/c++ classes at a junior college. i did. the only prereq's was a little math. but i didn't even have to test for any of that. i don't know if they checked my highschool transcripts or not though...
