Whats the most disturbin or eye opening movie/ documentary that y'all can remember
one that could have grossed you out or opened you eyes to some disturbin n bad shit...anything that flipped you out
some for me would be

*requiem for a dream
(that needle in the rotted arm part always tripped me out and I have to look away, and it kept me away from ever even thinking about shootin up)

*city of god
(when the kid has to decide which other kid he is goin to kill, that scene is pretty powerful, makes you realise we got it pretty good livin over here)

any1 else got others ?

I watched a video dealing with the diamond mines in Africa on the Guerrilla News Network website. There were dead bodies all over the place, little kids and shit. It was pretty gruesome and interesting that our culture thinks so highly of diamonds when really there are tens of thousands of people dying over them in Africa. It was some sad and fucked up shit and makes me never want to buy anything with diamonds in it.

Spun was a fucked up movie and it was funny as hell.

Requiem was a weird but great movie.

Fahrenheit 911 was a great documentary. So was Bowling For Columbine. A few of Michael Moore's book are good too like "Stupid White Men" & "Dude, Where's My Country".

Traces Of Death (The Bud Dwyer suicide was crazy)
Amazing & Shocking Asia (1st time I saw what a harlequin baby looked like)
The Smashing Machine : The Life & Times Of Mark Kerr
Serial Killers : Profiling The Criminal Mind
Just about anything from HBO's America Undercover series (Including Shelter Dogs...Seriously fucked up shit)
Cannibal Holocaust (Not a documentary, but crazy nonetheless)

And if you want to see some real shit, Frontline on PBS always has some really deep documentaries, you can watch alot of the episodes online.
