Honestly Moss is top 2-3 all time, so I don't have a problem with him having the confidence to say he's the greatest of all time. We all know who the title of GOAT belongs to, let Randy get his shine it's super bowl week and he's has a chance to make a major impact on Sunday.

Lol @ thinking moss was a good signing. He had what 3 td's? Like 400 yards? Now he is saying he the GOAT? Pretty much says he doesn't like his role with 9ers. Probably won't resign. All less than a week before the superbowl. Great signing.

^^^^thats not true man. he knows his role he's just gotta say something to make this week interesting. he's been quiet all year, a supposed leader in the locker room, and hasn't shown any signs of not trying, and instead seems to be actually trying. its a stupid thing to say and he knows it.

edit: ok i just read his comments that he is unhappy and doesnt want to return. what the fuck ever then. he really doesnt deserve a ring.

I read a article that made a good point about Randy's comments. The poster said something to the effect of Moss taking one for the team by causing some controversy, that way he can take the heat/pressure off the other youngsters who have never been on this stage.

Watching and reading about how Harbaugh operates I can see him getting Randy to do that, on the other hand it can just be a case of Randy being Randy and finally letting his feelings out after being low-key most of the season.

already posted BUT

Impending free agent Randy Moss hinted that he does not want to return to the 49ers next season.
Moss, who will turn 36 in two months, confirmed that he wants to play in 2013. But when asked if it will be with the Niners, he channeled Drew Rosenhaus with a "next question" response. When pressed, Moss said, "I don't like my role. I like to be out there playing football." As usual, Moss is overrating his own talents at this point in his career and thinks he doesn't see the ball enough. He caught just 28 passes as a seldom-targeted situational deep threat during the regular season.
