Mystikal was sentenced to a year in prison for tax violations yesterday (Jan. 12). U.S. District Judge James Brady sentenced the rapper for failing to report $824,916 in earnings in 1998 and $930,953 that was earned in 1999. He must pay back taxes in the amount of $271,000 in addition to penalties and fines. Mystikal will serve the one-year sentence concurrently with a state sentence for sexual battery against his former hairstylist. The rapper pleaded guilty in 2004 of forcing a woman to perform oral sex after he allegedly caught her writing $80,000 in checks. He was sentenced to six years in prison. On Jan. 19, the rapper has a parole hearing at the Elayn Hunt Correctional Facility in St. Gabriel, Louisiana, where he is currently incarcerated.

whats up with you people feeling sorry for your favorite rappers all the time....HE DIDNT PAY HIS FUCKING TAXES!....this is what happens. People always trying to portray the rapper as the victim no matter what the circumstances. That aint shit, it's concurrent, he does no time, he is doing both bids same time, that is good news. Thst nigga can afford the money to, so actually it is cool. He is doing no extra time over this. Aint you niggas been locked up before, or got a homie or Uncle locked up
