J.D. Drew has reportidly reached a verbal agreement with the Dodgers for a 5 year 55mil. contract. Ughhhh, San Fran better wake the fuck up. The Giants better pull Beltran out of their ass or it's another long season.

Also, the 3-way deal between the Dodgers, Yankees, and Diamondbacks has fell through. The Dodgers were obviously getting the shit-end of that deal.

Things are looking good in L.A. now, the Giants need to get on the ball!

i think they are looking pretty good. just need a couple of SP, which is of major.

here is what they have done. so far they have lost beltre 48 HR but have replaced they with Kents 25 at second and Valentines 25 at third. they have also replaced finleys 30 in jd drew in the outfield. hopefully hee sop will improve from his collapse after last years trade. i cant see why he wouldnt, he should have i big base in LA of Koreans/asians who will be there to show support him and make him fell more at home.

projected line up as of right now is.

C---NONE
1B---Hee Sop Choi age 25 should hit 20-30 homers
2b---Jeff Kent age 37 should hit 25-30 homers
3B--- Jose valentine age 35 should hit 25-30 homers
SS---Caesar Izturiz age 23 should hit for average with GG defense
LF---Jason Werth age 26 should hit 20 homers
CF---JD Drew--- age 28 should hit 25-35 homers
Rf---Shawn Green age 32 should hit 25-30 homers

every player in the lineup is a 25-30 hmer guy except SS ceasar izturiz.

you guys woulda got ass raped in that Unit deal, I was hoping they were gonna go thru with it lol

Hee Seop looks like shit nowadays, he changed his swing a lot since he was with the Cubs. Hes got the biggest uppercut in the L now, when he was with the cubs he had a nice smooth line drive swing. If he ends up a bust he can thank Kerry Wood for knocking him out on that popup lol

that one is har dto tell at this point although it did look as if we (Dodgers) were getting the short end of the stick.

whether the deal was good or bad for the dodgers depended alote on the health of Brad Penny. because green is probly already past his peak (although he is only 32), brazelban showed last year that he has the potential to be one of the better set up men in MLB (although at this point it is only potential as he was a rookie last year). but this is why i say that the deal depended alote on Brad Pennys health. Penny has the potential to be a #1 type pitcher. if he wasnt healthy it would have been nice to get Vasquez who is a #2 type pitcher and Dioneer Navarro who is considered by many the top cathing prospect in the minors. Now if penny was healthy and went on to have a good year in Az along with greene and brazelban that would have been horrible for the dodgers regardless of how the Yankees guys turned out.

plus another guy the dodgers were going to give up in the deal which was rarely heard of is Kaz Ishii. this guy has been Rock Solid for the first half of every season he has played for the dodgers then shit for the back have every year. Dodgers need to keep him and then trade him at the deadline.

true, but like i said earlier the Dodgers have a very Big asian fan base and a very big Korean fan base in LA. which hopefully would help him feel more at home than in other places like Chicago and/or florida. plus he is still just 25 and with only one full season and small parts of others under his belt.
