- We go to Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler during a commercial break on the USA Network. Cole announces that Stephanie McMahon will be in the house tonight to issue a statement and we will see a confrontation between Shawn Michaels and Chris Jericho.
- WWE Monday Night RAW kicks off tonight with highlights of last week's show where Edge cut his promo, Batista destroyed him and CM Punk cashed in to become the new World Heavyweight Champion.
- We go to a pre-recorded video of Stephanie McMahon saying her brother asked everyone to work together last week and it resulted in a show of chaos. She pleads to the entire WWE staff and employees to once again try to work together and act as one.
- Michael Cole welcomes us to the arena in New Orleans as Vickie Guerrero is in the ring asking people to excuse her.
Vickie tries to talk but is generating tons of heat from the crowd. She says tonight, she is here to protest CM Punk becoming the World Heavyweight Champion. She says she is not leaving the ring until Punk surrenders the Championship to her. In addition to that, she demands an apology. Punk's music hits and out he comes.
The new World Heavyweight Champion makes his way to the ring where Vickie sits in her wheelchair. Punk holds up his belt and celebrates with the fans, who pop hard. Vickie asks him how dare does he celebrate and the crowd begins to give her hell again. Vickie Guerrero is WWE's best heel right now, one of the best ever. Nobody generates heat like this. Vickie tells Punk that he took advantage of a beaten Edge last week and stole the World Heavyweight Championship.
Vickie says Edge life is torn up, he is close to a nervous breakdown and mentioned him calling off their wedding. Punk says she can whine all she wants but he probably did them both a favor. He says he won Money in the Bank at WrestleMania and what goes around, comes around as he did the same thing to Edge as he has done to others. Vickie tells him he has ruined her life. Punk says there are plenty of fish in the sea and she can find someone else to marry. He says he's sure there will be someone to take advantage of her again.
Punk says he can see her and The Great Khali together. Vickie stands up out of her wheelchair and slaps Punk. He tells her she just bought herself a one-way ticket back to SmackDown and starts pushing her to the corner as JBL's music hits and the white limousine pulls into the arena.
JBL, in a suit, gets out of the limousine and walks to the ring telling Punk he just bought himself a ticket to a short title reign. JBL tells him if it weren't for his illegal actions last week, he would be standing there as World Heavyweight Champion. JBL says tonight he will leave Champion because he is challenging Punk right now to a match. JBL says Mr. McMahon would agree if he were here. Punk says well Vince isn't here and JBL had his shot and he lost.
JBL keeps talking as John Cena's music hits and he comes out to a thunderous ovation from the crowd, very loud. Cena says usually JBL is pathetic, but tonight he is sick and goes on to mock him. Cena goes on and says he should shut his mouth and listen to the new World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk. Cena congratulates Punk and they shake hands. Cena says the McMahons aren't here and technically, nobody is in charge.
Cena says now, Punk needs an opponent for the Great American Bash. He proposes JBL vs. John Cena tonight with the winner facing Punk at the Bash. The music hits and out comes The Animal, Batista to a huge pop!
Batista says he wanted to come out for a few reasons. He says people can say what they want about Punk's win last week but he went through hell with Money in the Bank and he deserves to be World Heavyweight Champion. Second reason, he wanted to come out and say hello to his good friend Vickie Guerrero. Batista taunts Vickie who is still at ringside and says she made him miserable on SmackDown but he forgives her and is heartbroken to hear her life is falling apart. He says just kidding, he can't stand her and tells her to roll her ass back to Smackdown and never come back.
Batista's third reason for coming out tonight, he says Punk earned that win last week because of what he did to Edge so the way he sees it... JBL cuts off Batista and says nobody ever wants to hear it. Batista threatens JBL when John Cena cuts in. Cena says why don't we have a three-way tonight with JBL vs. John Cena vs. Batista with the winner going to the Great American Bash to face CM Punk.
Cena asks if that is OK and JBL cuts him off. JBL says he is in charge around RAW these days and says there will be a one-on-one match. We finally come to the conclusion that there will be a triple threat match tonight. JBL says fine, but if they gang up on him tonight... the music hits and out comes Kane!
Kane says he wants in too. Plain and simple. CM Punk says you heard it, there goes their idea of a triple threat and it looks like tonight we have ourselves a fatal fourway. Punk's music hits as he wishes them all good luck and the World Heavyweight Champion leaves the ring. The remaining 4 WWE Superstars in the ring look around at each other as we cut to video.
- Up next, we will see Rey Mysterio's RAW debut in a match with Santino Marella as we go to commercial.
Rey Mysterio vs. Santino Marella
Back from commercial and Rey Mysterio is making his way to the ring for his RAW debut. Out next is Santino Marella, who has a scowl on his face. We go to video of their confrontation last week.
Santino pushes Rey back into the ropes to start the match, trying to bully him. Rey comes back with right hands and a big move off the ropes to take Santino down. Santino catches Rey on the turnbuckle and drops him face first on the mat and begins dropping knees and boots in Rey's back. 2 count followed by another on Rey.
Santino drags Rey in the center of the ring and starts stomping on him. Santino applies a Camel Clutch on Rey but eventually he flips out of it and puts Santino on the ropes. Rey misses the 619 and Santino gets another 2 count. Rey takes back control of the match with some kicks and gets a 2 count of his own. Rey comes off the top ropes and lands on Santino, knocking him down. Rey dropkicks Santino into the ropes and nails the 619.
Rey Mysterio climbs to the top rope and hits a perfect splash onto Santino and gets the pinfall for the win. Rey celebrates with the fans after winning his RAW debut.
Winner: Rey Mysterio
Still to come tonight we have Shawn Michaels who will be addressing Chris Jericho and answering his challenge. We see Rey celebrating more with the fans as we go back to commercial.
- Back from commercial and we go backstage to CM Punk and Todd Grisham. Todd asks him who he hopes win tonight and suddenly the camera falls over. Two WWE crew members rush to pick it up and one calls the other an idiot. Was that real or not? Snitsky walks up and says it angers him that Punk won the World Title on his first night on RAW. Punk tells him to use his anger in the ring tonight. Snitsky vs. CM Punk tonight.
- We cut to John Cena who is talking to Mickie James in the hallway. Kelly Kelly walks up and says its time for our tag match. Mickie tells Cena that Kelly Kelly is the newest RAW Diva. Cena asks if Teddy Long let her out of her ECW contract and she asks if we have contracts? Mickie and Kelly walk off to the ring as we go back to commercial.
Layla and Jillian vs. Kelly Kelly and Mickie James
Back from commercial and Jillian Hall is in the ring with Layla. Jillian breaks out in her horrible song when Kelly Kelly's music hits and out she comes, now a part of the RAW roster. Out next is the WWE Women's Champion Mickie James.
Mickie and Jillian start it out with Mickie getting an early 2 count after some take downs. Jillian kicks Mickie in the stomach, bounces her off the ropes but gets caught by a kick to the knees and another. Mickie knocks Layla off the apron. Kelly gets tagged right in and gets a 2 count on Jillian. Kelly does a head scissors take down on Jillian then a hurrancanrana for another 2 count.
Jillian tries to dump Kelly to the floor but she hangs on. Layla pushes Kelly to the floor and Jillian goes outside to bring her back in. Jillian throws Kelly by her hair and gets another 2 count. Jillian freaks out at that and puts her foot in Kelly's back, applying the pressure. Jillian continues to dominate the match until she misses a cartwheel in the corner and Kelly hits a Victory Roll for the pinfall and the win.
Winners: Kelly Kelly and Mickie James
- While the Divas are still in the ring, JBL's music hits and the white limousine pulls into the arena. Michael Cole says we are about to find out who faces Punk. The driver gets out of the limousine and runs to the backstage area as we go to commercial.
- Back from commercial and JBL's music is still playing and the limousine is still sitting there. We see JBL walk up from the back area and try to open the doors, which are locked. Suddenly John Cena appears from the back driver's side door with a car jack in his hand. Cena says he brought JBL's limousine back in here for his own protection because the New Orleans DOT won't pass this car for inspection. Cena says he knows two guys who can find parts and repair cars fast, the music hits and Cryme Tyme come out with a bat and a pipe, backing JBL up on the entrance way.
Cena says you can't drive a limousine that doesn't have a passenger side mirror and JTG knocks it off. Cena says the next problem is the windshield and says in this state you must have a ventilated windshield. Shad goes to bash out the windshield. Cena says the tint job on the limo is illegal and asks both Cryme Tyme guys to help on this one and they bash out the windows as JBL tells them not to.
Cena says Cryme Tyme will supply him with a custom paint job and they start spray painting stuff on the car with red and black paint. Cena paints "CTC JBL Poopy" on the front of the car as Cryme Tyme paint all over the back and sides. Cena says this is fine work by the Cryme Tyme Bodyshop and wishes JBL good luck in the match tonight as Cryme Tyme's music hits and Cena paints another CTC on the car.
- We go ringside where Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler hype the fatal fourway later tonight and point out that tonight's RAW has been a leader-less show. We cut to another video of how CM Punk won the World Heavyweight Championship last week.

CM Punk vs. Snitsky
Back from commercial yet again and CM Punk is in the ring waiting as Snitsky's music and he makes his way to the ring, staring down the World Heavyweight Champion. Lilian Garcia doesn't announce this match as being for the title either. They lock up and Snitsky pushes him in the corner but gets caught by elbows and kicks from Punk. Punk catches Snitsky with another big boot and climbs to the top. Snitsky catches Punk off the top and slams him back in the corner.
Snitsky starts working Punk over with kicks in the corner then slams him in th center of the ring and drops a couple of elbow drops and then a 2 count. Snitsky picks Punk up in a big bear hug. Punk fights out of it with elbows but Snitsky knocks him back down to the mat. Snitsky misses a big leg drop and Punk fights back with more kicks. A big kick to the head by Punk as the crowd seems bored with the match.
Punk hits a big move off the top rope and then his running knee in the corner to the face of Snitsky. Punk hits the GTS on Snitsky and covers him for the 1-2-3.
Winner: CM Punk
- Backstage we see Shawn Michaels making his way to the ring to confront Chris Jericho as we go back to another commercial.
- After seeing a video of Jericho and Michaels highlights, Shawn Michaels makes his way to the ring to a nice pop. HBK accepts Y2J's challenge for the Great American Bash. Chris Jericho's music hits and out he comes with Lance Cade.
Jericho comes in the ring with Cade and tells Michaels he knew he would accept his challenge. Jericho goes on with his usual rant and tells HBK he knows he is hurt right now because he hasn't attacked him yet. Jericho says HBK accepted his challenge because he wants to put on a classic show for the fans and keeps up his usual rant. Jericho asks him but at what cost? And asks him if he gets hurt will the fans help him out. Jericho says his and Lance Cade's eyes are wide open and they see what is going on with Shawn Michaels.
Jericho tells Michaels that eventually he will be swept under the rug and forgotten. HBK goes on with a promo of his own and says if he leaves this business today he will still be remembered. These two guys continue to go back and forth with each other and HBK tells him despite everything Jericho has done in this business, he's not content and he doesn't have peace. HBK tells him that no matter what he does, he will never be him. The two come face to face as we go back to commercial out of nowhere.
Charlie Haas vs. Kofi Kingston
Back from that sudden commercial and Charlie Haas is waiting in the ring. Out next is the WWE Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston. Kofi hands over the title and squares off with Haas to start the match.
Haas starts off with a side headlock and hits some nasty right hands on Kofi, then chokes him with the ropes. Haas continues to dominate and rough Kofi up with knees and kicks. Haas covers and gets a 2 count on Kofi.
Kofi's eye looks to be bleeding after a rough kick to the face from Haas. Kofi continues to get dominated by Haas until he fights back with right hands. Kofi hits a big cross body off the top on Haas and takes him down with a series of kicks. Kofi does his Boom Boom double leg drop and leaps up on Haas then hits him with a big kick to the jaw and pins him for the win.
Winner: Kofi Kingston
- Backstage we see Batista warming up for his match when what looks to be a fan stops infront of the camera and mocks Batista's pyro entrance. WWE officials chase the guy off as Batista tries to stop laughing and we go back to commercial.
The pyro explodes and Kane is out next. John Cena makes his way to the ring last and the place erupts for him yet again. The match starts off with a brawl and JBL gets an early 2 count on Cena that Kane breaks up. JBL goes to the outside while Kane and Cena fight in the corner as we go to commercial.
Back from commercial and we see Batista brawling with JBL and Cena and Kane going at it. Kane levens Cena with a big elbow and goes to work on him in the corner. JBL hits a big clothesline in the corner on Batista as Kane claws at Cena's face. Batista drops JBL with a big spine buster for a 2 count. Kane chokeslams Batista for another 2 count.
Kane lifts Cena up for a chokeslam but he slides out of it. Cena goes for the FU when JBL comes in and drops him with a big boot. JBL and Kane hit each other with big boots at the same time and both men fall to the mat. Batista comes in and Cena picks him up, drops him for the FU but gets a 2 count when JBL breaks the pin. We go back to commercial.
Back from commercial and Cena goes for the Five Knuckle Shuffle on JBL but Kane knocks him down. Batista starts brawling with Kane and hits a big clothesline in the corner and turns around and drops JBL. Batista drops JBL again and then Kane with a toe hold and kick to the face. Batista slams Cena with a big spine buster and gets hype on the ropes. Batista turns around to a huge clothesline from JBL.
Cena goes for the STFU on JBL but Kane breaks it up. Cena is down, Batista is down and JBL goes to the floor and gets the steel ring steps. JBL drops Cena with the steps but Kane comes over knocks JBL into the crowd. Kane goes back to the ring and climbs the ropes to attack Batista. Kane misses, gets up and gets speared by Batista. Batista covers Kane for the pinfall and the win. Batista is going to the Great American Bash!
Winner: Batista
- After the match, Batista makes his way to the back as Kane gets up in the ring, looking pissed. Kane tears the steel steps from the ring and says something to Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler. He says it again and it sounds like "is he alive or dead?" Kane levels a WWE crew member with a big boot and then throws another on the floor. Kane continues to pace at ringside.
Kane grabs Michael Cole and asks him again "is he alive or dead?" Kane brings Cole into the ring and he tells him he doesn't know what he's talking about. Kane keeps asking him and he says he doesn't know over and over again. Kane lifts Cole up for a chokeslam but Jerry Lawler takes him down with a shoulder to the knee. Kane comes back and grabs Lawler, dropping him and hitting him with right hands to the face. Kane hits Lawler with a big boot to the face, leaving him lay as he makes his way to the back as RAW goes off the air.
