As you can see, MiZ's last post PERIOD was nearly 2 months ago. And Deep Thoughts last GOM post was over a month ago. And neither of them post any kind of new subjects.

I am not saying these people are bad people; and i am also not saying that we need Thread Nazis censuring and playing favorites; but don't you all agree it is about time we have Mods in here that are actively making new topics, keeping the conversations flowing, stopping threads from degenerating into "fuck u--no fuck, u--fuck u x2", et al?


I frankly could give a shit who is a Mod, or what political party they are or arent.

My nominations would include: White Devil, 2-0-Sixx, EDJ and Mcleanhatch --- All are active, all offer insight beyond the "click this link" or "go look it up" mentality, and all are good at keeping their temper in check.

EDIT: Almost forgot HERESY....that man is a walking current events encyclopedia.

I'd be interested in moding. I think if we were to do something like that, we should have someone whos really far left and someone whos really far rights, and everyone on the board should get to choose what kind of powers they can have.

Deep Thought makes interesting comments once in awhile but it would be good to see Modders who are actually active on this board.

I thank you for the nod tadou but I'm wondering about the actual times where moderation would be used or is necessary. I guess for the most part I don't see a need for it...though it would be nice to see people who are actually active on this board as our mods.

Venom or even 2-0 from the left

white devil (even though he seems apprehensive and most days i cant call it as to whether he really isconservative or liberal)

The only thing i disagree with so far is the notion of "someone from the left and someone from the right". Its obvious that most people on these boards arent "normal" (that is to say, utterly polarized on every single issue). I would just as soon have 3 competant mods from the same pool, than choose 3 people from 3 pools.....dos centavos.


And yes, W.D., the main reason would be the asthetic value, kind of like the Royal Family in Great Britain.

questions that should be answered before any change is made.
1. what the fuck do mods do?
2. how would it be different than now?!

I think it just makes things more interesting if one person from each spectrum is chosen to moderate this board, granite alot of people on this board are not partisan. They just voice their opinion on the particular issue which is encouraged.
