Does anyone think that mobb music sound is on the rise again? I am basing this off E-40s last album Revenue Retrievin with songs like "The Weedman", "Rick Ross Horns" "ahhhh shit" and I am sure other Artists have tracks that slap just as hard but are more mobbish than hyphy. Let me know what you think.

I think mob shit definately made a comeback in the bay with DJ Fresh and Mekanix at the forfront. But a ton a producers are all doin Mob shit again.

Same with that Siccmade shit. It's all been making a comeback in the last year or so.

fuck me, how could I forget C-DUBB an AP-9! That classic C-Dubb and CIN track "Born N The Ghetto" and pretty much every track on the Mob Hits cd. Also AP9 and and Beeda Weeda got some cuts I like. That Hollow tip and AP9 track "Murder" was tight.

Naw I listen to mobb music all day! Im just not up on current mobb music. and AP-9, I will check em out. Your shit always has slaps. My main issue I guess is

1. Not up on current mobb music

2. Dont have much time with a family to put in the time to figure out what songs are worth checking out.


So with that said, Any recommendations for current mobb music(aside from C-Dubb as I have most of his albums) ?
