thanks for the feedback everybody. yeah, i guess you're right..
it wasn't supposed to look like he's hiding his face tho..bellow is the original drawing and the pic i used for inspiration, i wanted to avoid drawing his face and that's why I chose this position..

ahh, thats the problem.. the logo looks good, but the left arm isnt visible in it. i think that makes a big difference..

neck just looks long cos his shoulder isn't high enough in the drawing.. and the angle of the shoulders in the drawing isn't extreme enough to match the photo.. in the photo the top of his prominent shoulder is damn near up where his ear would be if the glove wasn't blocking it.. u can see what i mean in the istock photo image the "x" scoring on the image is real close to the angle of the shoulders (constructive criticism)

you lost the emotion/pose in redrawing the original. it doesn't look anything like what you were going for, the logo quality & setup wise is good, but bad because it doesn't represent in a strong manner for the fighter. it makes him look stupid. the neck should be back with the head higher and the arm up more
